The marines face severe consequences when they kill a new borne alien. This makes the aliens angry thereby leading to severe killing of the marines. Aliens, considered one of the best movies in the action horror film category, paint a picture of how monsters cause tension in the society. However, the movie depicts a character, Burke who believes that he could rely on the aliens’ specimens for use as biological weapons. Burks is accused of releasing creatures to impregnate Ripley since he is interested in smuggling the embryos and using them for his experiments. Aliens, therefore, paint a picture of the outcome faced by people in case they disrupt peace among alien creatures. Aliens, additionally, depict the picture of a monster capable of killing masses in case they are annoyed. The film creates a graphical impression of how monsters are bad and how people are to caution themselves from the wrath of monsters.
Memories of Murder
The film ‘Memories of Murder’, shows violence in the society and how violent acts by a single person lead to loss of lives and suffering among other people. The film is based on the story of Korea’s first serial killing incidences where women were the main target. A woman is found raped and hidden in a ditch which makes the police beat out confessions form individuals who never witnessed the incidences. Key evidence is improperly collected as well as methods used being invalid thereby creating an impression of how violence disrupts peace and tranquility in a society. There are subsequent killings that follow where women wearing red are the target. The film, therefore, shows that women are the inferior genders and often the target of individuals who may have the intentions of carrying out violent acts.
