Project Topic
The selected topic for this research is a review on “How fed dealt with the great recession in the United States of America”. The great recession in the United States of America is a clear way of learning the financial markets of an economy and also the various strategies that the existing institutions within the economy can employ in place to curb any prevailing challenges of the same.
The main reason for choosing this topic is because it directly captures the topics on financial markets and institutions and this would highly help in mastery of the topics. The topic also covers a clear and relevant scope financial analysis and impacts of institutional policies to an economy. This gives an in-depth view on how institutional policies can be set to counter periods of challenges such as the great recession. In addition, this forms the basis for evaluating whether the Fed’s action worked well in curbing the effect of great recession.
For this study the strategy that will be used to develop this research involves a proper analysis of the state of the financial economy of the united states of America before and during the times of the great recession. This also involves the factors that led to the great recession and what policies the FED put in place as an emergency response to restore the economy back to normal.
Finally, the approach that will be used to do this research is by studying and analyzing preexisting research that focused on the various methods that were applied by the Fed during this period of the great economic recession of the US. This would also go a long way to evaluating the impacts that the policies had to the economy. This research topic is therefore relevant and applicable in helping with proper mastery of financial markets and institutions within an economy with a case study of the great recession of the US.
