Personal Essay
Currently, I am an 18 year-old student, who lives and studies in Canada. I graduated from high school in 2013. I am very open-minded with full regard and respect for all religions. I value Christians as believers in one God, whom they call Father, and Muslims, who believe in Allah and Mohammed as his Messenger. Moreover, I am fully devoted to charity whenever there is a need.
As a student, I actively participate in all campus activities, and I strive to make a beneficial contribution to a community I live in. Besides, I am grateful to my parents, for they always taught me to show kindness, forgiveness and honesty in difficult life situations, as an example of a good moral. Besides, I often visit the Christian church to get a closer idea about how the Christian faith is nurtured.
Presently, I am applying for Business/Marketing Program to the University of Redeemer. I find this course to be perfectly suited for my professional and personal growth. I am passionately looking forward to come across people of different cultures. This will include all the differences from religion, dressing, eating and students’ study habits. I am curious to get to know my peers and to form teams and close friendships with them. Moreover, I am convinced that we will establish strong bonds among us, regardless of our cultures and different communities we come from. I am motivated to achieve good results in academia to make my family and my school proud of me.
Personal Essay
As an 18 year-old Canadian student, I am determined to venture into Business/Marketing Program at the University of Redeemer. I have, thereby, set my future goals that I will make sure to achieve upon the completion for my study program, after which I will attain my Bachelor’s Degree. My short-term goal is to learn diverse aspects of marketing, starting with product conception planning to product consumption. My first choice is Christian Liberal Arts and Sciences University, since it is well-known with business study fields. The Program I chose will introduce me to marketing theory and learning via specialized marketing courses. My long-term goal is to seek internship as Marketing Specialist in a reputable industry firm. My commitment to my future goals as a business/marketing student will be that I will strive at completing a 4 year course with all satisfactory grades. For this reason, I will need to work hard to come close to achieving my goals. My strongest individual characteristics are honesty, open-mindedness and flexibility that I find useful when dealing with people from different backgrounds.
In my opinion, studies at Christian University require discipline and adherence to inner rules and regulations, which I am going to observe. Moreover, I am convinced, at this stage, that my future goals are achievable and realistic. However, I am always open to development and challenges that life among students of different cultures presents. For this purpose, I expect to engage in a peer and group work, as well as complete individual assignments to fully succeed in my studies.
