Social work practice in organizations
The logic model for programming and evaluation
The article stipulates that a logical model is a tool used by program managers to determine the effectiveness of the created programs. It focuses mainly on planning. The plan is usually based on a verity of elements that entails situations, inputs, outputs and outcomes. The process is also affected by external factors including the environment and other related programs. The results of the process can be a short, medium or long term. For effective planning, the development of measurable goals might help determine whether the planning process is active or not. An evaluation plan is usually inserted into the logical model to measure the outcomes (McCawley, n.d.).
Ten characteristics of empowerment Article
My observation on this article is that it establishes that the term empowerment existed in history. Empowerment in social services calls for commitment on the side of administrators. On a matter related to employment, empowerment starts from employers, and this motivates employees to empower their clients (Hardina, 2005). Participation of citizens ensures that there is effectiveness in service delivery. Organizations that are usually empowerment oriented tend to create formal structures that aim at supporting the participation of their customers in decision-making processes.
The social work Ethics Audit Article
There exist very many types of audits. The various kinds are usually conducted in organizations every day. Auditors should play an essential part in determining the level of preparedness of an organization to deal with an ethical risk. According to Reamer (2000), the workers should have an informed consent on a verity of services including the release of information that is confidential and on matters related to the program, admission so that they can have the know-how and assist them in making appropriate choices.
Question
