Introduction
The United States of education system offers a real field of choices for America and students in a global world. A lot of schools, programs, and locations both publicly and privately institutionalized crops and thrives in major states. It shares much of its structures with both the British and German education system. However, its character is profoundly influenced by three major philosophical beliefs that shape the American public life. It includes ideals of limited governmental and freedom of expression, states, religious communities, capitalism and the belief of rationality of markets and the widespread commitment to equal opportunity and social mobility. Moreover, the decentralized education system ensures not all students concentrated on the same topic of study, which allows each student to specialize in a certain field thus enhancing responsibility. Furthermore, it has been superseded by the state to control financial methods, academic standards policies and curriculum guidelines upholding high national qualities (Kenn, 2006). Education has been observed to serve as an engine and backbone for economic growth and stimulation through the accumulation of human capital. Consequently, it is highly associated with boosting levels of social characters and virtues of individuals, including honesty and responsibility. It is reciprocated by the public responsibility for higher education for the effectiveness of education system. Ministers and other leaders observe that the nature and the scope of higher education are so important for the society. Since it serves the society by educating all those who can pursue higher education studies and applying knowledge contributing to a better society through political, economic, social and cultural development. There is a general agreement that public authorities have the mandate and duty to offer for quality education for all at diverse different basic level (Alberto, Iannelli & Raffe, 2007). Many kinds of programs for young children to have good early education have been formulated to ensure early childhood education, i.e. its potentiality in promoting social, emotional, intellectual and physical development and learning. Young individuals are a lot easier to model and train at quite a tender age. Through this program young children are shaped in order to enhance the productivity on the educational system and to strengthen the quality of early education (Keene, 2010). The United States army carried out the research of how national building is achieved in various states. It was further noted that various proponents including civic education foster national building. It contributes fundamentals desired outcome which not only changes the social structures, but also democratization. According to him, nation building strategies like education allow for individualistic virtues and prosperity (Maciej, 2010). Education in the United States is offered at all respective levels from early childhood to graduate state depending on various institutions. However, this is dependent on the probability that that particular institution is either public or private institutions. The public education is separately developed within each state even though variation exists from one state to another; each and every individual has the right to quality education. There are emphasis and mobilization for quality education. The validity of this approval is based on the fact that quality education is not for sale but for the effective provision of quality education which is essential for economic growth and moral enhancement (Frith & Clark, 2013). The key characteristics of the educational system include: Stratification; that is the extent with which pupils with different ability are directed through distinct educational trajectories towards different educational end points. Here students are separated into different stratum based on age factors, the degree of academic performance and the mobility. Consequently, much responsibility among such individuals will be adhered to. Specificity; Scholars have argued that stratification alone is not enough to fully recognize the responsibility within the individuals in academically oriented state. The specificity entails vocational oriented system that start from the earlier stage that children differ drastically in capacities and ambitions and that the educational system should try prepare them for their spots in the labor market as good as possible. An early differentiation could be fruitful because it makes students be responsible in order to fulfill their objectives. The main advantage of this is that it allows students discover their interest for instance, if a state requires that a student must take a specified number of duration on a specified field, one has to choose one of those subjects and concentrate fully on them for the purposes of specializations. This trend is one of the ways that will aid in career development and enrollment to a desirable college. Education however encourages the acquisition of different habits and characters by offering students with effective role models in life. It can also be achieved by enumerating the characters in various folktales in every society. It is adversely noted that the character we form is very much influenced by the characters of the role models we choose. Additionally kids are most prone to delinquency in character adoption. They are discouraged from behaviors by antisocial role models in their societal surrounding and redirected to better behavior by prosaically role models. In either case, the role models that were most available to kids and real to them had the most effects—a stunning endorsement for time and integrity (Alberto, Iannelli & Raffe, 2007). One of the United States education goals in influencing moral behavior is to ensure that individuals are in the loop in order for them to consider the moral dimensions of their lives. Adults are charged with the responsibility of influencing the outcome of the young individuals. Parents, on the other hand, are not left out as one of the strategies deployed for raising ethical children. It involves such important skills as maintaining a daily and recurring dialogue with a child, connecting with their close and intimate friends, and effective and consistent reinforcement of desired behaviors and skillful reduction of undesired behaviors (Gabbard & Ross, 2004). Government educational policies, the US government advances various educational policies that each and every individual is expected to adhere to without much necessary failures. This help to curtail those vices that might be derailing educational sector. These policies, however emphasizes the need of high moral standards of national values. It is met when such institutions acquires and implement these policies. They may include national policies on the importance of honesty and responsibility among others. (Maciej, 2010). Individual’s self-reflection on values is a popular way when dealing with the promotion of any specific values. Education has a worthy objective of delivering the intended values to individuals and the clear values in every institution will have adherence and be acceptable. Most of the factors that bring about debate on the indoctrination about academic honesty and self-respect and others are questioned and shun by most of the contemporary educators. Individuals will try to stick to these values in order to maintain their integrity in these institutions. However, those that may not meet the values are will have a lower chances in being accommodated and accepted in such based institutions. Collectivism values have been currently adopted in most of the institutions precisely educational institutions this promotes cooperation and productivity while avoiding individualism since it incites destructive conflict and opportunism (Wit, 2002). The given collectivism groups are more responsive to norms than individualism. These normal values have higher chances of accelerating national qualities especially to the conforming individuals who may also be responsible if they are instructed to arrive at creative solutions (Kenn, 2006).The conformity to various norms guiding moral values is normally associated with both positive and negative rewards; those that avoid such explicit values are usually punished and corrected within such institutions. Americans educational system has help individuals to build high self-esteem through creation of a conducive environment favoring interaction among individuals. It can be obtained by organizing institutionally based forums both within and out of the institution. Self-esteem is not derived from idiosyncratic behavior but from calling attention from one’s unique abilities. It put emphasis on meeting set standards so as to maintain harmony and honesty in one's relationship to the group. Instead, there is a tendency towards self-improvement motivated by a concern for the well-being in the institutions. In addition, this promotes socialization among different individuals from different institutions hence they share good qualities and shun the bad ones (Kis, 2010). Conclusion In short, the US education system is one the major determinant of national quality especially responsibility and honesty among other values. It is intensified by the various roles played by education including stratification of education system, orientation and specifies determination of role models, government educational policies and the value clarification which provides checks on the major national qualities. A lot of programs incentivizing integrations and the urge to upheld and adhere to social behaviors and understanding among the different set of groups. Thus the realization of the state of responsibility and honesty.
