Introduction
The Village is a psychological thriller that boasts several intriguing characters and Mr. Walker is one of them. Mr. Walker is one of the elders of the isolated village that keeps its distance from the woods, as a dangerous creature lives in the woods. Mr. Walker along with other founder restricts people from the village to enter the woods and work hard for years to protect their community. Along the way, Mr. Walker displays several qualities such as leadership; care; and honesty that make him stand out among others.
Leader
Leadership is one of the reasons behind Mr. Walker being one of the elders of the village. Mr. Walker shows his leadership skills when Lucius admits to going in the woods. Despite, Lucius expecting a punishment from the founder, Mr. Walker calms Lucius and asks him to not worry about the situation.
Caring
Despite being the leader, Mr. Walker also displays caring attitude towards his family and other people in the village. When his eldest daughter asks permission to marry Lucius, he explains to her that she needs to ask Lucius first for his permission. In one way, Mr. Walker is protecting his daughter and Lucius at the same time.
Honesty
Despite giving a vow to village elders, Mr. Walker breaks his vow and informs his daughter Ivy that all things she knows about the village and the creatures is a farce. Mr. Walker shows honesty when he informs other elders that he told his daughter about the farce they created.
