Introduction
The topic of my fashion report will be celebrity fashion endorsements. The use of celebrities in the fashion industry is a quickly rising trend (Schroder and Mai 2). It is almost very necessary to the fashion experts around the world, due its power in influencing the success of a line or brand (Lea-Greenwood 12).
In my article, I explain the power of celebrity endorsement in the fashion industry. In the modern world, designer wear is becoming the new craze, especially for the young generation (Sagin para 2). Additionally, considering that celebrities are such a hit in the industry, starting a line with a celebrity will have a tremendous influence on its success.
In my article, I intend to analyze celebrity endorsement as a topic. I will also cover its merits and demerits, how successful it is and why it is or why it is not necessary. I will also use real life examples of fashion lines that have been endorsed by celebrities, and how they are doing in the fashion industry.
This article will not only be informative, but it will also be of much help to the brand managers or other marketing individuals (Tungate 7). By explaining the power the celebrity endorsements have on a fashion firm, the above-mentioned individuals could greatly gain from it. One of the factors that could be learned, for instance, is the fact that the endorsements attract attention (Badenhausen para 3). They also enhance the classy image that many youngsters crave, thus making individuals want to identify with it. By explaining all the aspects that entail the concept, the article could also help identify what to embrace and what not to in the fashion industry.
