Native Americans as well as Americans Indians were considered as the First Nations people who were regarded as indigenous people since their culture was established in the particular place as the first one. This implies that Native Americans are considered to be indigenous people. Native Americans have a very rich and unique histories as well as cultures which enables them to be distinctive Native Americans. However, Native Hawaiians were seen as people from a different ethnic group compared to Native American tribes in regards to continental US. For instance, Native Hawaiians were termed as the citizens of the United States of America in the year 1898 unlike the Native Americans. Native Americans comprised of Hawaiians, Métis and Cree Indians. One of the biggest challenges is the fact that Native American received much racism and most of them were denied their freedom as citizens of America. There were grants some few rights compared to the whites.
There are various issues that present some of the greatest challenge facing both Americans and Canadians in the 21st century include income, education, healthcare, opportunity and also housing. In most cases, these challenges are as a result of ethnic as well as racial groups that exist both in Canada and America in general. The level of education in some racial groups is limited and thus much consideration is required to upgrade the curriculum system. In the 21st century, only the Whites had the privilege to enjoy full fruits of education. Health care system in the 21st century seemed to favor the whites more than any other racial group. Whites received quality healthcare. This needs to be abolished so that equality prevails. There was discrimination in terms of opportunities and thus actions and policies put into place to ensure that eliminate such discriminations (Mazurek, & Winzer 2000).
