Buddhism is a religion for more than 250 million around the world. Buddha means awaken; it is more than religion as it is a way of life to the believers (Shengyan & Gildow, 2007). The Buddhists are mostly vegetarian, in Christianity it is recommended mostly to prefer vegetables as they help a lot on health matters. Some prefer one day meal that they take at midday. Christianity prefers proper diet and eating that is better for good health. Helping others out in Buddhism is purely good out of heart behavior that is acceptable and encouraged Buddhist will always take any medicine that may help cure their health condition. Due to their prospect some will prefer alternative medical practices and may not accept sedition. Christianity always promotes different medication but forbid the dangerous and evil cure. Medication should always be provided on the best methods possible that can provide better. Many Buddhist do not have an objection on the organ transplant as they see it as a way of donation. It is a way of helping others out which is their belief. Some do not prefer the transplant and organ donation from a dead body. This because they believe the mind dwells within the body. Christians have no problem with organ transplant as it helps others gain life and live more. Organ transplant is always a better and cheap way to help those with health problems though it should involve thorough test to prevent any fatal occurrence that may happen during the transplant. Shinto, which means the way of gods, it is a religion which originated from Japan. They believe in existence of spiritual powers. Though it was started a long time ago but still practiced in today’s world. They have worship places called shrines set up on natural places. They always rinse their mouth and wash their hands. Shinto’s believes in having pure body during birth only the body can be affected to impurities through living. They believe the body after birth is impure, dangerous and powerful (Meyers, Golden & Peterson, 2009). Dead body should not be interfered with according to Shinto’s as it may be a curse. Also, it may create a bad relationship between dead and living. Organ transplant is thus not acceptable and never encouraged in this religion. The transplant should be from living person not dead body. Shinto encourages young children to be brought to shrine at age of 100-300.They are also required to attend the festival later in life mostly to ask for healthy growth. Christianity encourages both prayer and vaccination for better and healthy growth of children. Shinto do not encourage others provide them with medication as they strictly believe in their own culture. Though we have different beliefs about ourselves but personal health care and caution is the basis of healthy growth. Baha’i is a religion that is monotheistic mostly concerned about unity of all. It involves unity of God, unity of religion and lastly unity of humanity. They believe that people are equal, that we only have one God and spiritually the source is from the same God (Buck, 1999). They believe in prayer, reflection and service to humanity. So far it is the world youngest independent religions, the main message is how we human share biological and spiritual unity. Helping hand is a good motive to them and they encourage those who volunteer to help when necessary. The Baha’i Faith supports religion and science as they are both important for well being of sick individual. They believe in prayers for each other, can provide counseling services and support to patients. Christians support any help provided to patients during any difficulty they are going through including praying for others. The mentioned practices are safe, sincere and a good helping hand to the society. They fit the current world status as the poor may benefit from the action of others who are ready to help. The religion does not have any negative perspective about diet. Because of the current revolution and the health risk, Bahai encourages better and prompt balance diet as it is one of the best way of treating illness. Christianity encourages balance diet during sickness that helps improve the immune level of the patient. Proper and good diet provide a good environment for the patient to get well, this always depend on the medical practitioner prescription. Baha’i allows organ donation. Bodies that are donated for the research are supposed to be buried within one hour journey from place of death. Bahai allows donation of blood and transfusion. Christianity allows blood transfusion and does not have any condition relating to the dead body used for the research. Burial of the dead body within one hour is not appropriate as it may cause unnecessary rush. Better preparation is recommended as the family of deceased can have ample time to prepare for the burial. Circumcision is not a religious matter according to Bahai; parents are free to decide on it depending on the medical perspective on men. Circumcision of a female is mutilation and against Baha’i principle. Christianity does not encourage female circumcision and advocate for the prosecution of those who carry it out. Female circumcisions always cause many problems that lead to death in some occasion. The vice should not be allowed but to males it should be personal decision making as it has both advantage and disadvantage.
