My current Role
I am currently a student and expecting to be the successful manager in the future. The course is fascinating, and it would help me to manage and improve my behavior to become a successful person in life. I am studying at the university and trying to implement different source in my life that I have covered in the class. I have learned different approaches and gain various experiences from the course of diagnosis and management of human behavior in organizations. It is designed according to individual level concepts that have developed my understanding of both psychological and contextual factors that affect behavior in the workplace. These factors have a profound affect on the work environment and behavior of employees. I have learned the concept of brain development and adolescent behavior that has provided some potential benefits. It is the very interesting course for me that have increased my knowledge. It has inspired me to improve my behavior and achieve my objective in an effective manner. Human behavior plays the significant role in the development of every organization. It has helped me to perform different physical actions act in a certain manner and control my emotions effectively. I have developed the positive behavior and performed various activities in an ethical manner. I have learned that each person is substantially different from all others regarding their needs, demographic, personalities, past experiences, and other factors (Donna, Kurt, & Dawson, 2010).
I have understood that the individual’s behavior is directed by their needs and the consequences that result from their acts. The motivated behavior is always beneficial for the individual and organization. The effective management of human behavior is directly associated with the development of the organization. The management needs to evaluate the behavior of every individual in the organization and improve it accordingly. I have used to speak in an ethical manner with teachers, fellows, and other individuals in the class and university. I have improved my behavior after reading this course, and it improved my performance and capabilities. I have created good relation with my family, friends, teachers, and other peoples after reading the course. Therefore, I am very excited to read it again and again. I am somehow capable of understanding the behavior of others and identifying different gaps in it. I am capable of motivating others to manage their behavior improvement and control emotions. The effective management of behavior has increased my technical, interpersonal, conceptual, diagnostic, and other skills.
Opportunity for Growth
Gap between my current state and the desired future state
I have learned various thoughts and developed my behavior still some improvements are required. I have identified some gaps in my current state and desired future state, and I need to fill those gaps. I have found gaps in mental approaches and needs to get knowledge about managerial behavior in the organization. I have found some weaknesses in my morale and needed to understand the way to treat and motivate the employees. I have found some other weaknesses in identifying good and bad behaviors of the people. I have found some limitations in understanding ethical behavior in the organizational culture.
I want to be a successful manager in future, and I need to focus on teamwork, problem solving, continues learning, and other behavior improvements techniques. For an effective manager, I need to understand about diversified organizational culture and appropriate behavior. I have found some holes in my communication skills and attitude that need to improve in future. I have to understand more about certain behavior that is required to perform in organizational culture. I have to learn about leadership approaches and behavior to influence and direct others towards a certain goal. I need to develop and promote good behavior that will increase job performance, skills, and abilities and reduce accidents, stress, and depression. I have to create more functional behavior in a future state. I have to develop positive and optimistic behavior in a future state.
In future, I will be a successful and innovative manager in leading organization. I have vision and plans that will help me in achieving the objective. The ethical and legal behavior would also play the significant role in achieving the company objective. I can view my bright future and see my home, dream car, having a certain amount of money, staying in five-star hotels, and good family.
My Plan
I have created the strategic plan to be a successful manager. I have followed behavioral change theories and improved my behavior. I would focus self-efficacy and believe that I am able to achieve my goal in life. I will effectively control my action and emotional during difficult situations. I have followed learning theories and behavior analytic theories of change and understand that I will learn complex behavior gradually through medication of simple behavior. I will observe the behavior of great leaders such as Steve Job and try to adopt desired behavior. I would follow social learning and social cognitive theory and learn new behaviors from the environment and observe others from the perspective of social interactions, outside media influences, and experiences. I would implement the theory of reasoned action in my life and consider the behavior’s consequences before performing a particular behavior. I will try to improve positive behavior and influence others to act in a certain manner (Ral, 2014).
I would consider the leadership theories and understand the behavior of top leaders. I will treat my team equally and ensure the participation of all members in different actions. I would influence my team to create the sense to togetherness, respect, and trust. I would promote an ethical culture in my organization and arrange different training and development program for employee behavioral development. I would develop my personality, self-esteem, positive ego, confidence, and interpersonal skills.
