The human resource is a group of persons working as employees in an organization, an industry or any financial system. The management of the human resource is vital to the success of any organization or enterprise; as such there are various matters that are often taken into consideration. Djurovic (2012) asserts that the human resource within an organization or economy is an essential asset to that organization or business enterprise.
The factors that are taken into consideration while analyzing human resources include the type of workforce that is deployed in terms of age and gender, another factor is the requirement for diversity in employment within the organization and finally the desired qualifications, professional or otherwise that are specifically needed for the performance of the required tasks competently.
Human resources management is an essential process in the achievement of the goals and objectives of an organization, firm or an economy through the proper channelling of the work force. The Human Resource management works through the assessment of various strategies within the firms. The human resource keenly analyses the workforce available to the organization at any point and also the future recruitment or replacement of the workforce (Djuvoric, 2012).
Furthermore, the management of human resource intertwines with the process of recruiting new staff members and deciding on the best terms of service in accordance with the law and serves the best interests of all the stakeholders, including the employers, however diverse those interests may be.
Additionally, the human resource systematically and periodically undergoes through performance management phases such as motivation, training and development to ensure that the work force is continually enthusiastic and have the incentive to continue working as stated by Djurovic (2012). Moreover, the human resource through the management looks into the welfare concerns of its workforce to ensure an unwavering mindset among the employers regarding their value in the organization.
