Sometimes I sit back and wonder if we deserve the honor of being called intellects. How can we call yourself the top crime of the society yet we cannot show a slight change to the society. Look around, I bet what can you see is an element of environmental pollution. Right back in our villages, there is high expectation from the people, waiting for a savior to save them from this encroaching problem of pollution. Look at the surrounding of this precious university. Litter every where. The administration and its entire staff, you included has failed. I think we all have no mission of being here in the first place. Almost 80% of our environment is unhealthy. We will all perish. However, all is not lost. Since we are the ones causing the problems, we should be also the ones finding a way to rectify the problem. The solution to the problem is right here.
Last year, I am sure we all remember very well, we had organized a spring event, Spring Band Madness that featured a number of city and student bands. The event was successful. This year is no different from last year. We have planned to host a different event this year that we believe can offer a solution to this problem of environmental pollution. The event is called “Let’s Save Our Environment”. The event is aim at creating interactive environment among students. We strongly believe that if we sharing information and ideas together, we can come up with the best solutions to address this problem.
We all know that the budget that administration puts to some students projects and services is too low to sustain it well. This event also aims at raising funds for running these services. With your help and contributions, we can manage these programs independently without bothering the administration. We have planned to channel the funds raised to organize social events.
Last year, we had invited Spring Band Madness to our event. It was our hope that the event could attract many students, unfortunately that did not work as expected. This year things will be different. The committee will invite back those bands with high profile, those that are exposed, have experience and good performance on record. We have already received many applications from many bands. Selection of the best bands is on our side. Never miss it out to this event. I can almost guarantee you that the program is successful already. You will regret if u miss out to this event. Make a different and save the world for once in your lifetime.

Following your request to perform at Let’s Save Our Environment Show, I hereby reply to inform you that am afraid I won’t be able to take your offer this year.
You have been our constant visitors for the last two years now in a row if am not wrong. I must admit that your performance is promising and we appreciate that so much. However, this year we have decide to give the opportunity to highly profile bands.
We felt that we should at least give chance to other bands to also prove their ability and capabilities to perform. I hope you will understand my reasons for turning your offer down. Remember there are always next time.
