I am studying to become a social worker and that is main preoccupation in life. However, I have other life goals which include starting and raising a family and helping my own family and my community. I am working towards achieving my goals by being there for my parents and grandparents and by volunteering in the community. I believe in social work which can make people lead better lives and be better adjusted.
My job is aimed at making lives of the people easier and more meaningful by helping them during difficult times. The society as a whole is responsible for the wellbeing of each citizen and it is the job of social workers to make everybody feel welcome and to help them adjust. I volunteer and work part-time in order to help people with disabilities and with those who have mental health problems as well. My major is human services and I believe that my profession is not separable from my private life which is why my life goals are related to my professional goals. I am already helping the members of my family, especially the senior ones and I am ready to embrace the responsibilities that will come when I get married. Family is the corner stone of a healthy society and relatives need to stick together. Moreover, people should have empathy for one another and help out strangers as well. My life goal is to become a person who inspires other people to make a difference in the society by helping other people accomplish their life goals as well. I wish to set a good example by doing charity work and by making people realize that it is up to them to make a change in the world.
