The proposed business is concerned with the establishment of a Marijuana Cultivation and Distribution Centre. Given the sensitive nature with which issues to do with Marijuana production and use is treated by law and society at large; a business engagement in marijuana cultivation and distribution presents various challenges that are threefold. These include; security, testing and education.
The business’ success will depend on the functioning of these three elements. First, with respect to security the intention of the business persons is to ensure both the safety of the business venture, as well as that of the employees of the organization. As entrepreneurs dealing with a product such as marijuana are cognizant of the dangers it poses especially with respect to illegal trade of the drug; it is paramount that security protocols be designed to ensure the safety of the business and personnel.
Secondly, the business will design testing protocols that will ensure that the product does not fall short or surpass the dosage of the accepted quantities of Tetrahydrocannabidinol (THC) such as to be harmful or not helpful to the patients its administered to. Fundamentally, the business will particularly be engaged in the production of medicinal marijuana.
Lastly, the establishment of the business would be incomplete without an education plan for patients treated in the facility. As part of its development plans, the facility will give guidance and information to patients on the best practices to engage in ensuring that they do not get addicted to the drug. Further, the education will also serve as a warning on the effects of addictive marijuana use. The objective of the business would be to help patients in regulating their rate of marijuana use by limiting it to medicinal purposes only hence ensuring their good health.
