Classical concerts are nice events, and a person comes to know about many things after visiting a concert. A person has good memories of the concert and gains musical information about it. The concert that was attended was held in Brooklyn, New York. On 5th of December, Cecile Licad performed at a concert where a huge crowd gathered to listen to her. She played Chopin’s Ballade No. 1 in G minor and Scherzo in B-flat minor, McDowell’s 10 Woodland Sketches, Cecile Chaminade’s Sonata in C minor and Faure’s Ballade.
A group of four men and a woman were performing a concert, and they performed in on their instruments. The woman Cecile Licad was the main performer who was at piano. The other performers used violins and flutes to accompany the lead performer. The conductor of the event was Bargemusic; they are involved in conducting classical concert.
It was a classical concert, and they performed on classical music that was very soothing to the ears. The songs they chose were of the highly regarded artist. They played it tremendously well and were performing with excellent collaboration.
The music was played a tremendous manner, and the ensemble collaborated with the lead artist very well with their instruments. The notes of the performed masterwork were played well and were not very high. The rhythm of the music was nicely performed by all the people performing the music. The melody of the song was very smooth just as the original artists performed it. Licad was able to perform the song in a moderate pitch; she at times went a bit high on the pitch.
The flow of the event was very good; everything in the concert was well organized by the organizers. The audience in the concert was on time, and all of them enjoyed the performance of Lead. The guest was allowed to check in at 7:30 pm, half an hour before the start of the concert. The concert started at 8:00 pm and continued till 9:00 pm. The event came to an end in a wonderful manner.
The venue was organized in a big hall at Brooklyn where all the guests were warmly welcomed. The place of the concert was very big, and it entertained 1200 people. The audience that arrived at the concert included people of all age groups. There was a special discount for the senior citizens and students. The audience listened quietly to the performers quietly and applauded for them at the end of each song. The music played was very good and entertained the audience as well. The lighting of the concert was bright, and it kept on changing at times during the concert. The whole concert was a wonderful event as everything was organized in a beautiful manner without any difficulty (Kramer 103).
Personally the music played was very good as the performers performed their masterwork in a beautiful manner. Licad performed Chopin’s Ballad No 1 in a tremendous manner which everyone enjoyed a lot. The performance of the lead artist, as well as an ensemble, was very good, and the organizers also conducted the event in an amazing manner. My analysis can be justified by the reaction of the audience as they appreciated the performer by applauding. The audience enjoyed a lot and gave the performers a standing ovation which supports my opinion.
