I am a woman who is full figured with more to love and almond shaped eyes to die for. The full shape of my lips is a physical characteristic that many other women are constantly paying for. My smile is one that shines bright and allows people to gravitate towards me. It explains my personality very well without my having to actually talk about it. It tells everyone that I am kind-spirited, sweet, and have an angelic personality. My smile welcomes everyone. My face is full of melanin and grace and I believe I resemble my former Kings and Queens of the past centuries. I love my melanated skin because that means I am protected. Protected in the sense that my melanin is necessary for my brain and nerves to operate, helps my eyes see, and allows my cells to reproduce and the amount of melanin in my skin helps protect me from the sun (Moore). I love my braids because it gives me a break from having to do my own hair in the morning. With box braids, I can style my hair in many different ways; it's actually pretty fun. It's a great protective style and it's fairly inexpensive! Last but not least, my stance. I believe I stand with confidence and that's a very admirable feature of mine. With the way I carry myself, you'll be able to tell that I carry myself with a sense of class, confidence, and style; with just a bit sweetness. As Maya Angelou says, "It’s the fire in my eyes, and the flash of my teeth, the swing in my waist, and the joy in my feet. I’m a woman, phenomenally" (Angelou).
