Fascism and Nazism are at most times used interchangeably due to their similarities. However, there are vast differences between the two. The similarities that they share are that they both do not put any value to Liberalism and democracy. While Nazism took place in Germany by Hitler, fascism originated from Italy under Mussolini. Nazism was more racial and thought of the Aryan race as superior to any other (Prabhat, para 4). The ideology they followed was guided by pure hatred of people that were not their race. Unlike Fascism, which believed more on social class, Nazism aimed at unity although for the people of their race. The racial followers maintained the glory of the rule.
Fascism
This rule does not give much value to the citizens if their purpose is not meant to give glory to the nation. The ideas shared in fascism are that the state has control over everything including private businesses. Adolf Hitler is a good example of a leader that practiced this kind of rule. Leaders are authoritarian, and they do not allow for democratic elections (Prabhat, para 6). They control the nation and most resources including the media. Power is gained by use of force either by murder, intimidation, and police. The leaders do not obey any international agreements that do not favor them. Therefore, international law is not applicable.
Communism
Communism is aimed at giving economic equality to ensure that social classes do not exist in the community. The ideology is that the people are equal and, therefore, resources are owned by the government. The people are meant to work for the state while the fruit is equally distributed to all citizens (Diffen, para 2). Unlike in the other rules, there are free elections of leaders. There is little or no control of the country. It is one of the most popular kinds of state. The citizens are comfortable with the democratic rule. Unlike the other types that leaders do not force their beliefs on the people but they are part of decision-making processes.
