The personality type which best describes me is the INTJ. I usually prefer to carry out my activities in person with minimal inclusion of other individuals in the process. This is due to the fact that I value myself as an introvert rather than an extrovert. Secondly, the actions I usually take in life and the decisions that I make are solely dependent on intuition over sensing since I have got a conviction within me that I can only achieve the best from my actions if I follow my instincts (Spruijt, 2012). Thirdly, I believe that employing the line of reasoning and thinking is vital in getting any task done rather than dwelling on feelings which may compromise my judgments. Finally, I always prefer making judgments regarding different issues rather than perceiving them since such a strategy ensures that a well thought out process has been followed when arriving at particular conclusions.
As regards to teamwork, I prefer performing my tasks in an autonomous environment while at the same time respecting the individual stands, ideas, feelings and thoughts of my colleagues. Such a strategy assists me in performing self-evaluations which are vital steps for achieving a high sense of competency and meeting my personal goals. By ensuring that I concentrate on working individually, I avoid possible tensions and conflicts at the workplace which is an important ingredient as far as ensuring a healthy working relationship has been created (Spruijt, 2012). The fact that I concentrate on avoiding tensions and conflicts makes me more adaptable in situations which call for my input. My INTJ personality has been very instrumental in perfecting my skills and embracing the challenges which I may be faced with in the corporate world. The resultant effect from such a realization is that I usually come out more effective as far as fulfilling my responsibilities is concerned
