Apparently, the Walt Disney Company has a great aptitude of extending its operations and business to various countries across the globe. Though this company has since utilized their aptitude to go global in many apparent ways. It is high time for this company to consider extending its operations to many other potential countries across the globe (Rothaermel, 2013).
While preparing to establish itself across the various countries, this company is predisposed to facing various challenges and obstacles prior to becoming stable enough. Apparently, through well-defined leadership styles and strategies, this company will effectively eradicate obstacles as they work to go global. This paper in essence seek to establish the key requirements to going global, the o9bstacles that Disney Company will probably face, the legal requirements and finally the management and leadership styles that will help exterminate these obstacles.
In going global, obstacles are inevitable. The obstacles that will be faced predominantly by Disney Company include: Finding reliable partners to help in developing the business, problems that stem from the time difference, cultural nuance and difference in communication style. The best leadership style to adopt when aspiring to go global is the democratic leadership style
