Clair McCaskill – US Senior Senator for Missouri, Democratic party
Birth: July 24, 1953 in Rolla, Missouri. Parents: William Young McCaskill and Betty Ann McCaskill. Education: 1975 – Bachelor degree in Political science; member of Kappa alpha Theta; 1978 – Juris Doctor (JD) from University in Missouri. While studying in the University of Missouri she studied also at the institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems at Georgetown University.
Political career: 1982 – Missouri House of representatives, representing Brookside Neighborhood of Kansas City; 1990 – elected to the Jackson County legislature; 1998 – elected to State Auditor; Nov., 2, 2004 – her first defeat in her political career for twenty years; 2006 – US senior Senator till nowadays supporting Bernie sanders for president.
William Lacy Clay Jr. – District1; US Representative for Missouri’s Congressional District1; Democratic party Birth: July 27, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri. Well known as lacy Clay. Parents: Bill Clay – US Congressman and Carol Ann (Johnson) Education: 1974 – graduated from Springbrook High School, visiting before that a public school in Maryland; 1991 - earned a degree in political science from the University of Maryland- College Park and was certified as paralegal; member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Political career: 1983 – entered the Missouri House of Representatives; 1991 – elected to he Missouri senate; 2000 his father Clay, Sr. retired and Clay, Jr. won to the House of Representatives, District 1; re-elected six times; caucus memberships - Congressional Black Caucus, Congressional Progressive Caucus (Vice-Chair), and International Conservation Caucus; member of Committee of Financial services, etc.
Ann Vagner – District 2. US Representative for the Missouri Second district, Republican patry Birth: September 13, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. Education: 1984 – graduated from the University of Missouri with a BSBA from business school emphasizing on logistic. She has private sector work experience after college. Political career: 1990 – entered the Republican party; 1992 – headed the state department for the re-election of George W. Bush. 1999 – elected as chair for the Missouri party, the first woman who occupied the position; 2001 – winning the Senate special election; 2002 – the general election for the House of the Representatives for the District 2, Missouri. 2005 – 2010 – ambassador to Luxembourg; 2010 – till recent times, she has a tremendous success during all elections reaching the rank she is today.
Blaine Leutkemeyer – State House of Representatives, District 3; Republican Party. Birth: May 7, 1952 in Jefferson City, Missouri. Education: Graduated from Lincoln University with Bachelor of Art degree in political science. Political career: 1998 – elected to the Missouri House of Representatives from the 115th district; as a state representative, he served as chair of the Financial services committee and as House Republican Caucus Chairman. In 2004 he was not looking for re-election but he finished second in the Republican Primary and in 2005 he was appointed as Missouri Tourism Director, 2014 – US House of Representatives in Missouri, district 3.
