The main factors that are affected by communication include customer relations, advertising, reputation of the company, marketing, public relations, and employee management among others. In Apple, the communication channels involved include the web-based communication that is possible any time and in any place in the world, email that is instant written messaging globally, video conferencing that makes it possible for different branches of Apple to hold a single meeting that is interactive at the same time. In addition, Apple uses reports to document occurrences in a branch or a department within a branch, telephone that accommodate speeches from long distance branches, and presentations that involve the use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
During the twenty first century, Apple has evolved new modernized methods of communication that makes communication more efficient than before, in the last century, the most used communication was face-to-face communication, which was significantly inhibited by culture, language, religion, and level of understanding (Thompson 221). It is vital that the communication within the company is managed in an appropriate way, to avoid negative relationship in the working environment. Apple’s management involves a sequence of decision-making processes and the executive f the company views decision making as its power source. Information plays a significant role in management and decision making of Apple. Decisions should be made quickly since time wasted in decision-making is crucial to the business and cannot afford to be wasted. Adequate information system between different levels of management is crucial in quick decision-making. As determined in the previous segment of the paper managers in Apple are lucking when it comes to communication. By carrying out auditing, the team will be able to know which area to focus on mostly. In addition, the team will implement networking as one of the ways in which to improve communication amongst the staff members in the company. Productivity will also be increased within the company. The team will ensure that the communication that will be increased within the departments will motivate the workers to work harder hence increasing productivity. The team will make it a priority to see that information from the corporation's database is shared among the different departments in order to increase communication. The team will also work hard in order to see that efficiency is included in almost all areas of the business (Brigham 145).
This can only be achieved if communication between different departments is enabled. This will lead to the fifth step. In this step, company managers, department leaders, and the staff will be encouraged to collaborate. This will bring unity while working and help in promoting ideal communication, which will be used to come up with the best strategy that will be used to run the company efficiently. Apples efficiency will normally be based on how well the different staff and leaders collaborate with each other. This move will make sure that everyone in the company is well informed on the change of strategy. Communication within the company will be enhanced by making sure that all the different departments work together. This will be the only way n which communication will be mainly promoted. The team will use the above steps to increase efficiency in all quarters of the company and promote communication (Thompson 176).
