Introduction
As a young person, my ambition has always been to handle transaction mediums such as money and other financial matters. My passion for service to human service pushed me through the high school to join a high profiled college, which saw me do a BA (Hons). As a young graduate, I always admired the hospitality arena, seeing the receptionists move in and out of their offices of work. One dream always kept me pushing through, hoping to occupy one of the top seats in the world. My skills have however, over the years, improved tremendously as from my graduation into the work experience. Establishing my personal development plan will help me plan and track record my weaknesses in the progress of my career.
Personal development plan;
This is the layout of activities that improve self-image, knowledge and increase the chances of success through a track recorded plan and objectives. As a young entrepreneur, my skills have always been a boost in my prowess as could be witnessed in my academic reports. Have always been enthusiastic and ambitious towards achieving my set goals. My background success has always been a motivating factor behind my life. Keeping track of academic works from the time of initiation to the current situation, there has been outstanding challenges and stepping stones. Understanding my background can be a stepping stone in helping realize my dreams of becoming a world renowned specialist in service to humanity and the general.
Personal Development Plan will help discuss the accomplishments that will improve my self-knowledge and identity, develop my innate talents and prospective. This will also link to building on human capital for employability. Further, enhance quality of life and contribute to the awareness of dreams and aims. The concept is not only limited to self-development, but also contains formal and informal activities for developing others as well personal development takes place in the context of institutions, such a knowledge will help me to understand the methods, programs, tools, techniques, and assessment systems that support human development at the personal level in organizations.
The track of my background information may be rated as one of the most documentable adventures in the literature works. Personally going through the levels of academic demands. Some pumped by the family members while others being fueled by the environmental demands. The documented records of performance may present the self-test results. Also, it also represents the extra efforts to gain experience in the field of interest as documented. However, there has also been challenges, strengths and weaknesses as witnessed in my SWOT update;
The purpose of SWOT analysis was to identify what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that will give me a clear view about the personal skills and how to improve on my profile. The following findings detail my SWOT updates;
Strengths:
Have a good communication with students and tutors, which increase the ability to learn.
Have a good presentation skills as a presenter with confident, eye contact with audience, control the stage and
Expert dealing with clients and solving their problems in the hotel sector and front offices.
Weaknesses:
Academic writing.
Examinations.
Working individually is also one of my weaknesses.
Opportunities:
Try to improve my writing by reading more and practicing more.
Learn a new ways to prepare for the examinations and avoid stress.
Try to do some activities by myself and compare it to the work.
Threats:
Homesick - I normally miss my family as from the point of separation.

Action plan:
In the next two (2) years I intend to improve my performance to get better output using my strong points. With the strong ability to manage time, I also plan to enhance my day to day working knowledge and to further improve my own ability to perform at a certain level consistently at both individual and group levels. As an action plan for my academic skills, I believe that I should put a spot on my weaknesses and threats, try to improve it at least with temporary solutions that might help.
Finally, based on my strengths, I should keep working to be a professional in presentations, teamwork, solving problems, and working under pressure. I think that the opportunities are so wide such as a part-time job in the hospitality sector that will increase my experience and see the difference between my old experiences in this sector and compare with the different cultures here in Wales.
Time management:
As a good time keeper have always kept diaries of my planned activities. Both manual and electronic accounts have helped me to heighten my mission time management. My major challenge, however, has been when it comes to dealing with group work deadlines. Some group members have had the tendency to pull back the achievement and the success of meeting the deadlines without pressure. On the other hand, identification of time wasters has been a great concern. Balancing the university social life and the academic might be the cause of my piled pressure towards exam time. It is fascinating to establish oneself in a totally new environment with myriads of new cultures. The confusion and culture shock experienced tends to consume a lot of our productive time. We tend to imagine so much in the event of understanding each other’s culture and background. Time constraints may involve taking time to create new friends and frequent visitors. By balancing my time well, with regards to my schedule, I seem myself best placed in achieving my dreams. They say, “Time is money and so I got to spend it well”.
Future career plans:
My passion lies in tourism and hospitality. This has always been my dream since I joined to pursue a career at college level. In two years’ time, I want to be a supervisor at one of the big hotels in the students' body-level before I finish my degree. My mission is to serve humanity with a distinctive difference in the arena of hospitality and tourism. I also intend to open my own state-of-the art hotel in one of the major states in the United Kingdom. In the long-run I want to run several hotels in the states. These are long-term plans that I see as much necessary if I am to be successful with my projects. The long-term goals are a better representation of my hard work today.

Professional skills
Good knowledge in Information Communication and Technology. In the previous year I did a certificate in ICT where I highly qualified. I later got recognized with a certificate of performance at the same institution. My ICT skills can be well expressed in the tutorial reports documented in the institutions database. I have also expressed a high level of competence while in the university following the outstanding presentation I did on the works that were required of us in both the class work and the assignments. It can also be evidenced in my well organized electronic diary kept in my personal account.
Hospitality skills; having worked in the Wales as an hotelier, I gained vast of experience on how handle visitors and present oneself. The hotel also offered me a platform to apply the theories held in mind into reality and practicality with much ease. This has advanced my knowledge base to loopfront. It has also exposed me to an innovation and creativity arena. While in Wales, I have always championed for the right of host recognition that has seen the implementation of an outstanding host recognition cap and uniforms. This distinguishes the guests from the employees and the rest of the staff members. The skills can also be witnessed in my Curriculum vitae as presented. Have also highly demonstrated the skills of a team player in every setups.

Highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, purpose-driven and God fearing individual with a passion to be the change. Charged with the passion to serve humanity. I highly appreciate the value of differences in any environment and desire to have an impact at any opportunity given. It is always my desire to leave a better status quo. The individual in me is an emotional introvert but very productive in terms of nature analysis and environmental linkage creation to foster the merging of different aspects of life situation to develop a solution to a problem.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the development of my skills takes the charge of beginning the employment statutes through the reward of experience. The knowledge learnt from the literature documents and the theories documented can only be transformed in this manner. Personal attributes and moral, cultural support can form the strongest driving force behind the development of an individual's career. My career development rests upon the support gathered from the family basset, environmental exposure and the economic demand. Besides learning in the classroom setups, some skills can be developed out of person and talents. Capabilities lies within one's ability to identify where their talents and where their strengths lies at personal basis.
Investing in my passion has been one of the sources of motivation throughout my career development at all the stages in the level of my profile stages. My profile update has relied on the practical, experienced gained from the voluntary work and the unpaid opportunities that presents along the way of development. These show that the theories learnt in class can be applied only in a practical work environment and requires one to gain a preliminary exposure for the purpose of mastery skills and relevance. It is only possible where the individual has a willing drive to self-motivation and personal desire for change. My skills have however, over the years, improved tremendously as from my graduation into the work experience. Employment pays only in two ways. You get paid for the work you perfectly do from your knowhow or you get paid in gaining practical experiences. To crown everything since I was a young graduate, working within the hospitality arena has always been my ambition; seeing the receptionists move in and out of their offices of work.
