Free Request For Permission To Retake Course Essay Example

I am writing to request for the exclusion of a course result from my transcript and to be allowed to retake the aforementioned course. The results of the course in question was erroneously awarded to me as a result of misjudgment by the course instructor and for this reason I am asking for forgiveness and appealing for a chance to retake the course.
Education has always been very important towards my ambitions and objective in life. I do not take the opportunity to acquire college education for granted and for this reason, I did not hesitate to leave my family behind once I was accepted as a student by this institution. In the hope of attaining a good college certificate, I have always dedicated my time and effort to my studies while at the same time maximizing all resources provided to me by the institution to achieve this goal. The certificate is very important to me since it would not only facilitate me get a good job, but it would also serve to motivate my young daughter to look forward to completing her studies.
The poor results I received have significantly affected my overall GPA which is reflected in my transcript. In addition, the course is also quite crucial to the degree program am pursuing in the institution. A good grade in the course is, therefore, required of me in order to get a proper certificate once I have completed the program. I hereby humbly request for an opportunity to retake the course.
