THESIS
The paper will incept on the enterprise architecture whereby it insights on strategic planning processes that assists in translating a business' vision plus its strategy into practical changes in the company. The paper shall discuss in-depth on the Enterprise Architecture under a sub-topic entitled introduction. Here, the article will enlighten on how the future visions of a business assist in the coordination of analysis of an enterprise and its plan's development to harmonization of the required changes in business functioning like provisioning of data, capabilities of technology and solutions for the applications (Zachman, 2002).
The next phase of the paper will be factors considered in determinations of readiness. These factors will include the following: 1. Assessing the EA programs maturation and improving them. 2. Definitions of EA in a beneficial manner. 3. Explanation of the benefits of business accrued from EA programs. 4. Gaining accreditation and later momentum building by hand picking lowered fruits projects. 5. Using EA in improving decision-making processes (Wegmann 31).
The next sub-topic will be the phases in conducting the Enterprise Architecture inclusive of the following: Firstly, strategizing and planning which looks on gaining agreement on the central issues to tackle and development of future-stance description that comprises requirement and models (Cummins 17). Secondly, assessment of the current status of the enterprises visions through identification of company's current position in its EA maturity, a gathering of documents describing its capabilities in technology (Bernard, 2005). Thirdly, assessing competencies through reviewing the already established mechanized budgets and considerations of their refinement. Fourth, gaining approval through the development of the required strategies plus assessment of the results (Jonkers, et al. 2006).
The fifth factor will be the implementation of the findings from EA efforts and lastly on operating it and evolution through articulating them in greater details.
Conclusion part will entail winding out statements on Enterprise architecture thus handing out mainframe for prospective changes in a business enterprise' strategic policies management.
