The industry of gaming has changed significantly in the recent years. Various companies have come up with different gaming devices. The launch by Sony of their advanced video games has become a favorite of many of the lovers of the games. The gaming devices such as Ps Vita, PS4 among other devices (Ewalt para 4).
The company has been keen to listen to the needs of the game players and at accordingly. The launch did not attract as much sales as the company expected therefore the company was forced to come up with new strategies that would be suitable for the product. Sony did market research that indicated that people are relating the two games closely and prefer to purchase one instead of both. This situation is attributed to the fat that the games are expensive compared to others available in the market.
This price might be close so as to give customers the dilemma of purchase, hence going for the most qualitative commodity. However, the company reduction in prices will help in price completion in addition to the quality of the games. The nostalgic approach that gamers have to quality games can also be used to enhance the sales of the two products ( Kline et al., p 53).
The company is also offering more motivating conditions such as offers for specific days so that the clients that play daily get to have days of free play time. Consumers are selective with luxury goods and most of them consider that cheap is not always the best. They can purchase as long as they get value for their money. The different strategies will ensure that the people who were doubtful will purchase their games comfortably.
