Introduction
Human Resources Management (HRM), which also known as Strategic Human Resources Management (SHRM) is an important field through which the effectiveness of the employees and employers can be analyzed resultantly (Armstrong & Cummins, 2011). As per the theoretical aspect and knowledge of SHRM, hiring and firing, recruitment and selection are the major part of a human resources department, however there are some other parts as well that will be effective for their future consequences including maximizing the level of human interaction and effectiveness. The hiring and firing of individuals get a perfect idea to the organizations as far as retaining the things in an effective manner. In this way, the companies can get added advantage particularly. This assignment is basically a continuation of the previous assignment in which a Day Care Company is selected (Mathis & Jackson, 2003). There are number of questions that needed to be answered in this particular analysis to have a clear understanding of the topic; however all the answers should referred to the previous assignment regarding Staffing of Day care plan.
Analysis & Findings
- Firstly, it is required to identify three different job requirements on this piece related to the Daycare Center, and then move towards the other parts appropriately. The three job requirements of the Daycare Center are Previous Work Experience, Intermingling Skills and Relevant Qualifications. This particular aspect of requirements can exactly undergo with the implications and implementation of the previous chosen scenario. Secondly, it is required in this part to do a brainstorming activity by suggesting two strategies from which these requirements could impact over the staffing behavior of the Daycare Center (Mathis & Jackson, 2003). The two strategies that can be used here is educating the children as well as teachers regarding the effectiveness of intermingling and interacting skills of the individuals, and by arranging workshops for the children and teachers for practical demonstration. Both of these techniques or strategies will certainly help out the Daycare Center to enhance the staffing technique and expertise on the organization. The third requirement of this part is bit technical in which it is required to pen down a strategy in which it should be devised that what strategy should be implemented by the Daycare center to have all the guts and job requirements mentioned above in the case. According to study and thorough analysis of different companies and training sessions, it is found that if all the requirements will be adjusted on the advertisement then it would be easier for the company to shortlist only those individuals who have the closest experience in particular. As far as strategy is concerned, taking relevant screening tests can be a prime example for the Daycare center to have applicants meeting with the above mentioned requirements. It will also help out the company to retain only those applicants who have the basic knowledge and information related to the Daycare and its related operations.
- Planning is the first element found in the field of management, and it is usually associated with the management of plan accordingly. The planning that specifically associated with the recruitment is known as Recruitment Plan. It is required to attain four recruitment strategies. The four recruitment strategies will be as follows
- The Daycare center would like to deliver succession planning in their recruitment offices and strategies that can ultimately enhance the functionality and workability of the (Mathis & Jackson, 2003)employees of the company in the best possible manner for the company.
- The daycare center has to hire the retirees in the senior manager position because they have high experience in terms of recruiting the right talent for the company in the near future. This particular strategy will last for long for the company, and it can be referred as a long run recruitment strategy plan for the daycare center
- It is also recommended to the Daycare Center to hire Retired Army Professionals within the Admin and Senior Control and Safety positions of the company. Having such professionals in the Admin and the Compliance department will certainly compels the employees to comply with the regulations in a perfect manner, and should cover their effective strategy to overcome on any issue.
- Recruitment functions should be transparent, hence the daycare center is required to apply the relevant techniques and code of conducts to comply with the current staffing and the future long run recruitment plan and strategies
- Branding is an important aspect that associated with the field of marketing and Human Resources Management (HRM). It is an important stance for the employers to increase the brand of their employers accordingly. The three branding strategies that will be taken into account by the Daycare Center in this particular aspect are Celebrating and Marketing their employees, Rewarding the Employee’s referrals and Continue in Sourcing Potential Candidates. All of these three strategies will create a perfect image of the daycare center in the eyes of its competitors as well as in the other companies operating in similar or somewhat different markets in particular (Snell & Bohlander, 2010). These strategies will also look over the attraction of qualified candidates and applicants for the sake of the analysis of the organization are particular for the Daycare center. Communication is an important aspect that relates to an entity, and no organization can entails the level of effectiveness without having effective and timely communication and management stance particular in their operations. The strategies related to the economic functions of the company devising on the strategy that it will be used for the long term scenario and efficacy. The three communication strategies which will be used are Verbal Communication, Non Verbal Communication and Visual Communication. The main reason behind selecting these three level and methods of communication is that Daycare centers always required oral and report writing skills from their employees and management to have a great sort of flow in the company, while non verbal communication and visual communication will be used to educate the children entered and get admission in the daycare center, because daycare center has been made specifically for these people in particular. With the help of associating the current communication method with the branding strategies will be essential and effective for the company to hire the best people for their effectiveness in future.
- The field of HR is extremely broad and there are certain aspects that are effective in their future aspects resultantly. Among numerous things and fields that found effective in the field of HR, there is a name of Selection as well. It is the most important strategy for the HR department of a company, and the strategies related to the same should be used in a perfect and organized manner. The two different selection process for recruiting the new employees are Identifying the Vacancy and Evaluate the needs along with Reviewing the applicants and then shortlist them accordingly. The selection criteria can be extremely essential for the companies, and for a Daycare center the significance level would be double. The selection criteria that will be used in this particular aspect has been divided into five different steps particularly in the daycare center which are Interview, Evaluating the Candidate, Conducting a Reference Check, Making the Offer and seeks additional references (Snell & Bohlander, 2010). The main reason behind selecting these criteria is very clear, as it is the most effective selection criteria from which potential candidates can be hired easily by the Daycare center for their effectiveness and long run computability. These strategies or selection criteria has the ability to retain the selected employees for a long span of time because it has a rigorous process in terms of evaluating the candidate with all the background checking and reference checking accordingly. This particular check will make the criteria effective in terms of evaluating the potential of the candidates in a perfect and organized manner particularly.
- Annual Performance Review that will be found from the supervisors in the end of the financial year has the potential level of every employee particularly
- Creativity of the employees should be judge with the passage of time in order to predict their future job and increasing the knowledge level of the employees accordingly
- Appreciation or intrinsic motivational rewards with high communication with the employees can works wonderfully well for the company in terms of getting the knowledge and information from the candidates regarding their potential job

It is evaluated from the entire theme of this paper that apart from hiring and firing, there are number of things that found effective in terms of managing the employees in a perfect and organized manner. It is also evaluated from the analysis that employees should be given extra attention to make them effective and happy in particular effectively. The daycare center will certainly get added advantage with the help of this particular effectiveness particularly, and stance should be used accordingly in the section for the betterment of the company and their employees.
