Of recent the world has undergone globalization with each nation connecting with others for social, economic and political benefit. The onset of globalization and its flow is associated with several changes and interconnections of ideas, opinions, practices as well as finances as the community networks against one another. The movement of individuals is also dominant act and after settlement new communities are formed that contain people of different ethnic groups an more so bring about on different cultural grounds. This brings about dissimilar traditions close together and greatly encourages cross cultural exchange, with a new tradition with completely different practices from the original set. The termination of originally existing cultures and adoption of the newly formed tradition by the current generation might be seen as a loss of value especially on the core community activities such as staple food production and attack to other communities in an effort to accumulate wealth. However there are many advantages that accrue from this practice in addition to ensuring complete globalization.
The introduction of many individuals in one area brings about different perspectives of viewing issues. Most of these perspectives are directly related to long hold morals, cultural beliefs, and to some extent the way each community does its things with most of them being assumption. When these morals are incorporated together, the community sorts them according to performance, reality in the belief and the best out of them can be commonly adopted for every action hence forming a completely different community with different morals and beliefs. Individuals’ personal experience is thus nurtured by cross cultural exchange an one can act more efficiently and with more confidence rather than basing arguments on this is how it works in our community. A complete conversion of the community brings about actions that are up to date an can be incorporated well in current matters that have resulted from evolvement of the technology
The first outcome of cross-cultural outcome is an onset of new language or adopting the dominant language. Effective communication is enhanced through familiarizing oneself with the common language that is accepted by every individual. Communication in itself brings about good relations as different ethnic groups share ideas. The misconception about the other community that was perceived earlier disappears and immediately different ethnic groups view each other as with equal ability. A good example is the disappearance f the social class that has originally been assigned to the whites as the black residents of America been as naïve inexperienced and to some extent as of low quality. Interactions between these two different communities and sharing of ideas have made the blacks equally value as the whites and of late have been assigned seats in leadership.
The main goal of globalization is seen as to improve efficiency and enhance economic growth. Communication across different communities thus becomes a vital factor as in any organization different people with different talents, skills and experiences are required. From the top management to the unskilled employee and incorporation and coordination of both ideas and methodology is required for the success of in growth of the economy. Although we are saying that cultures are based in beliefs, it certain that with a certain belief one can be encouraged to expertise in an area and gain full experience. Different communities have different beliefs and thus will result to production of some best characters who can take different position. Through intercultural interactions in an organization and complete understanding and acceptance of each individuals culture productivity is improve through complete specialization an proper linkage of activities.
The prosperity of businesses is also attributed to cross cultural activities. Business ideas can be developed by any individual irrespective of his ethnic origin. Interacting with different people gives one a chance to improve their business perspectives and enhance success in future. More over due to globalization the market has been expanded from the initial national level to international level. Customers from different tribes have different taste and preference and thus a business identity must have an idea on how to attract these customers in an effort to reduce competition. In addition to businesses uniting with their customers and perfectly benefiting from them, business partners must incorporate the differences in their traditions in order to mutually coexist successfully. Once the differences are used positively the outcome is actually a magnified prosperity. Inadequate communication skills will have a very impulse negative effect to any business as the relationship between the business entities and customers is altered with. The employee employer relationship has also to consider ethnic grounds as well as expertise as when the two have differences in communication non quality products might be produced.
The health of an individual depends majorly on the environment as well as activities undertaken by him. Culture and traditions is seen to adversely affect the health status of different tribes in different ways. For examples there are those syndromes that are associated with the gay community as other communities that are involved in female circumcision enduring their girls prone to other diseases. In administering medication to individuals it is necessary to understand their cultural practices that might have been resulted to that syndrome. A clear advice should be given in an effort to make the individual avoid that practice and if possible terminate it. This calls for the medical officer to have complete knowledge on different ethnic cultures. Moreover the interaction of many communities result to many available choices of practices within which some may have adverse health effects. From these choices the most disastrous ones can be eliminated as the community globalizes forming a new generation with a universal culture. This would be the best preventive method of handling diseases resulting from cultural belief. In addition to these the methods of treating diseases can also be made universal by adopting the best from the different methods used by these ethnic communities.
Cross cultural issues are essential in day to day activities and they come along with several benefits as well as eliminating the problems resulting from unnecessary beliefs, culture and social practices. The incorporation of this practice in our daily life is important and is encouraged by many federal state governments as it results to reduce overreliance as well as improving the social welfare of individuals. Understanding of one another’s weaknesses and strongholds ensure peace in the country as well as among neighboring countries. Moreover ignorance to time changes is the only reason available to ignore cross cultural issues and this might impose serious effects on the economic, social and political situation of the community and to the world as a whole.
