Lizzie Borden was living in Massachusetts with her father and one sister Emma; her mother was died when Lizzie was just three years old. His father married another woman Abby when Lizzie was 5 years old. His father was a wealthy man and when in the year of 1884 he gave a house to a sister of his second wife, Lizzie strongly opposed it. In the month of august, 1892 she was noticed buying poison and after a couple of hours her father and step mother were killed in a house. Police arrested Lizzie, a trial was done but due to lack of evidences Lizzie was acquitted.
Lizzie Borden case is not as complicated as it has been announced because the intention of the accused is enormously transparent. She killed her father because she had an eye on his property..
a. It was revealed that Lizzie bought poisonous substance a day before of the murder. She had poisoned them; everybody was under the influence of poison only she was not.
b. August 4, 1892 when this brutal murder was done, the accused was inside her house with maid, the door was locked from inside, neither anybody came nor any body went out. Lizzie was the only one who had the motive; she was after her father’s $500000 property.
c. Lizzi was noticed burning a dress, the motive was to destroy the blood stained dress only.
The case of prosecution was not prepared in a well manner, being girl also was a factor probably. The case was tried more than hundred years back, the kind of tests and probing system is available today, was not at that time. This is not the first case of its kind, there are several cases where due to lack of evidence accused have been acquitted.
