Expo Dubai 2013 was an international event that took place in April. The exhibition took place for duration of four days. It involved destination training events for everyone interested in expanding their business and learning about the new destinations. It took place at “Madinat Jumeirah” (et al.). The exhibition was to attract five hundred to seven hundred North American travel agents. It was carried out as part of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce marketing initiative for promoting the wider market. The events included a conference for consumer right, entertainment, health care, business, governance, family events, arts and culture.
The expo was of potential benefits to the country. It created employment due to the increased investors to the country. The investors included international business, new technologies that improved the service delivery in various fields and air travel related business. The exchanges of foreign currencies lead to economic gains. However the expo also had its consequences. The country had to pump in more resources in the plans of organizing the events. In the event that it involved a diversity of people from all over the world gave a lea way for the intercultural relating. The adoption of negative cultural habits around the world affected the original social structure and the country.
A political system in a country depends mainly on the social structure and economic needs of the citizens. The economic needs can be met from the international sphere through the influence of the international communities via inclination to any existing group. During the expo, meetings with the international communities bring to play the political power game. The Dubai expo 2013 had numerous advantages to the economy than the disadvantages. This made the expo a success that resulted in a series of expos that are currently in the plan.
