Appropriate Team to support Intrapreneurship Plan
The best team that I consider most appropriate for intrapreneurship idea must possess various qualities. Firstly, every member of the team needs to be committed to pursuing the goals of the plan. A good team is the one that works very hard towards the attainment of the plans. It is worth noting that such a team needs to have a motivation drive that encourages them to work hard for success (Lewis, 1998).
Additionally, the team members need to be cooperative in all the activities. Each member of the team should be willing and ready to work with all the other members of the team towards a common good. They team must show a strong will to share ideas openly so as to create room for creativity within the team.
Furthermore, the team members should have respect for each other. They should show great concern for their friends’ feelings. Besides, they should also respect their leader by listening to his or her instructions all the times. They should be ready to solve conflict among themselves professionally to enhance the reputation of the team.
Moreover, all the members of the team must be very active and should be able to communicate effectively. In a good team every member needs to take part in the activities of the team very actively. They should always provide ideas that will enhance the accomplishment of their plans. Also, the team should be able to communicate effectively to ensure that every member understands his goals and roles. Communication is a powerful weapon that enables members of a team to have a common stand towards realizing the goals of the team (Lewis, 1998).
Nonetheless, the appropriate members of my team should have the ability to solve problems emanating from the performance of duties of the team. They should have the will to interact with any form of a problem in a solutions based way. They should understand and support each other to have the problem solved all the times. Besides, they should provide the best professional solution for any problem focusing on enhancing the efficiency of the team.
Finally, the most appropriate members of my group should also be goal oriented. An outstanding group is ever focused on realizing its goals. In fact, the team members should be able to develop strategies that are key to ensuring that they work in unity towards the plans of the organization. In fact, this implies that they should focus on meeting the goals in a continuous manner one goal after another.
Recruiting Internally
When recruiting from the internal source, I will first make use of the internal recruitment policy. The policy will guide me in advising the managers not to hold qualified candidates from the departments from taking parting in the exercise. This means that all employees with the qualifications need to participate in the exercise. Also, I conduct a job posting that will involve using a system that will ensure that all the employees of the organization are aware of the vacant position. I will use the various medium to post the job around the organization which includes the use of emails, fliers, posters on restrooms and bulletin boards. The job posting will provide the employees with details concerning the job description; department affected, application date and eligibility (Dessler, 2000).
Furthermore, after the employees apply for the job, I would conduct screen for all candidates. The screening of the candidates will assist determining the eligibility of the applicants. It will seek to know whether all the applicants meet the required qualifications, competence and experience of the job. It will pave a way for the interviews of the shortlisted candidates. During the interview, the best candidate will be identified and selected. I will provide feedback to all the applicants for the job and explain the criteria used in selecting the best candidate.
Recruiting Externally
When recruiting from the external source, I will start by developing job specifications and description. This step is vital in coming up with the details about qualifications, experience, and skills required for the job. The next step will involve posting the job through advertisement via the company’s websites, job agencies and social media among others. Besides, posting of the job will also use the flyers and posters in various locations among others (Dessler, 2000).
Nonetheless, this step will be followed by closing the posting, reviewing the applications, shortlisting the successful candidates and providing the day for an interview. The interviews will involve assessing the skills and competencies that the candidates possess to determine the best candidate who meets the required specification for the job. The interview will end up with the selection of the best candidate. The next step involves providing feedback to the candidates and inducing the selected candidate in the company (Heneman & Judge, 2003).
