Therefore, not everyone is able to grasp the essence of what is happening and to evaluate the film highly. "Tree of Life" is a film-excursion. An excursion into the flow of thoughts, and spectators can correctly choose one for themselves. Each of people was a child and then a teenager. Each one may have to be a father or a mother. And in each case, the interpretation of thoughts and actions are always different. At the same time, life goes on. It can either be full of success and failure, or end at any moment. Life is unpredictable and so beautiful. "Tree of Life" is a film that shows how much life is beautiful in all its manifestations; as it is wonderful and unique, whether it is nature or a man himself, as everything is "breathing" in unison with the matter. Nevertheless, there are moments of calm, when bloodshed stops at some period and humanity calls it a "peace". The protagonist, a common soldier Witt, has his own world and its thin red line. He has his own private oasis and he wants to be a part of it. The war sweeps past for him, it feels very close, but does not touch the soldier. For him, the war is just a misunderstanding and a temporary insanity of people. He does not believe that it is a reality. He believes that the world is really perfect, and people destroy it themselves.
