I am applying for the stockroom associate position in warehousing job category at Merlin Entertainments' Legoland.
Resorts and theme parks have always piqued my interest. I believe that working with Legoland is a good opportunity to be part of Merlin Entertainments. Located all over the world, my cultural background fits the interests of the company. Being born and raised in Asia, I am open minded, flexible and can easily adapt in a multi-cultural background. Legoland Carlsbad is very close to where I am living right now; nonetheless, I do not mind working in other branches and relocate.
Some may think that a stockroom associate career is simple. I, however, find it challenging because it requires reporting, stocking, inspection, and maintenance skills and deals highly with supplies, tools, records, and quality insurance. Fortunately, my education that majors in Global Supply Chain Management has prepared me for these challenges. I am adept in MRP/ERP and I understand that companies always deal with Just in Time, quality control and material management. I believe that the inventory operation and standard procedures for maintaining warehousing are the foundations of every company's management strategy.
I will be graduating in May; even now, I am excited and anticipating a good career with Legoland and Merlin Entertainments as a whole. With the training from my heritage and the academe, I am certain that I can be a good addition to Legoland. A company that encourages employees to interact with customers and co-workers, I am looking forward in developing my career and learn from a world class company.
