What is Ryanair’s ethical stance?
Ryanair has formulated a code of ethics that sets principles for conducting business in the most ethical manner . The code of ethics is implemented by the top management and the middle management to ensure that the codes are adhered to by all the employees of Ryanair. Additionally Ryanair also has a code of conduct for the employees of the organization.

Ryanair has a poor reputation in relation to Corporate Social Responsibility issues. The company is ranked at bottom 10 of ethical ranking of 581 companies based on issues such as environmental performance, corporate social responsibility and information provided to the customers. The company has been criticized for distributing misleading information on its website as it claimed that airline contributed just 2 percent to carbon emissions which was actually based on global data and not UK data. The company has been also blamed for misleading price list on the website. The company has been blamed for poor customer service in the past. The company has also been recently criticized for treating its employees in the most unacceptable manner .
Should it be changed?
Yes, ethical stance of the company Ryanair should be changed with a greater focus on the corporate social responsibility issues and also the ethical conduct of the company towards the employees. The employee feedback should be given importance and a transparent accountability standards should be enforced on the company.
Does the company have a promising future?
Ryanair has a promising future in terms of market share in British airline industry. However the poor reputation of the airline may affect its business profitability in the future.
