The mere fact that some races are economically, socially and politically developed than others does not imply that there are races which are misplaced. The economic prowess of an individual is dependent on so many factors including their social background particularly the environment surrounding them. White separatism is a public facade embraced by white supremacists (Rasmussen, 12). Perceiving the other races as weak and misplaced is a prejudiced view of the world. Having the mindset that other races are worldly races that the white must keep away from is a totally prejudiced view. All races are equal, and governments must strive to eliminate the spirit of separatism from the minds of their citizens. Separation is not the best way of preserving the certain appealing aspect that a race may want to reserve.
Though some Americans live in devastating economic conditions, many have strived to alleviate themselves from such conditions but with little or no success. However, the government should not wholly ignore the poor. Taxing the poor helps the government to redistribute the wealth of the state. However, it should not provide total aid to the poor as this might only encourage them to be lazy. It should only provide sufficient amount of aid and encourage those who are poor to work hard and alleviate themselves. Additionally, it should start economic projects that will help improve the economic status of both the poor and the rich. Heavy taxes on the rich might discourage them from working hard therefore hampering economic development. Whoever, being poor does not imply that the race that one belongs is lazy or poor. The condition of an individual should not be used to judge the entire race.
In the contemporary society, harmony is essential for a state that wants to progress socially, economically and politically. Despite the existing diversity, races should unite and regard every individual as an equal (Rasmussen, 52). Although it might not be easy for the various races to freely interact, there should not be any prejudices or enmity that hampers the association of the races. The act of condemning issues like interracial marriages that breed integration is an outdated practice that must be brawled and eradicated at all costs.
If the white separatist cannot physically separate themselves from the political institutions that they disobey, then it indicates that citizenship is forced. Although their main intention is not to rule, they feel that they are not part of the very government that they are supposed to obey. They perceive all actions from the government as being unreasonable and unrealistic. They feel that they can rule better than the incumbent government if given chance. It is socially just that we feel part and parcel of the governing bodies or else we shall forever live in a nagging state. Laws are there to be respected and we must all be treated equally. No one should be above the law hence must conform by it.
Human beings should be treated equally and entitled to the same rights, freedoms and opportunities. However, governments and law agencies must take the initiative of protecting the most vulnerable members of the society (Rasmussen, 102). Otherwise, they might be maltreated by those who consider themselves to be “mighty”. Governments must devote more resources towards eradicating the social indifferences that exist. Economic prowess or wealth should not be used as a basis of demeaning some races.
