THE MODERNTECH CORPORATION
Dear Mr. Foster,
The Moderntech Corporation appreciates you as one of our most loyal and consistent customers. Your devotion to the products of this company is quite inspiring to all staff members of the corporation. We have received a complaint from you about the $1000 piece of equipment that broke and your request to cash in on your warranty privileges. I am very sad to inform you that you will not be able to cash in on your warranty privileges in this particular occasion.
The main reason for this decision is the fact that our warranty offers have an expiry date. Your particular piece of equipment had warranty duration of two years. This means that, after two years, the warranty offer is fully wavered by the corporation and the customer has to take full responsibility for any damages that may occur to their products. In your particular case, Mr. foster you used your particular item for a period of three years. This well outlives the warranty period offered for this particular item and as such the corporation cannot be held responsible for the item at this time. The item is, therefore, entirely the responsibility of the owner concerning its maintenance as well as its sustenance at optimum operational capacity.
Another very important factor that s also considered during the granting of the warranty privilege to our esteemed customers is the circumstances that led to the necessity of the granting of the warranty privileges. In the instance of faulty equipment, the circumstances that led to the faultiness of the equipment are taken under careful consideration in order to establish the cause of the performance inefficiency of the item in question. Thus, in order for the warranty privilege to be granted it must be fully established that the performance inefficiency of the item can be traced back to the corporation either at the production level or otherwise. This simply means that it must be established that the corporation had a hand in the performance inefficiency of the item in question, a scenario that would prompt the corporation to take full responsibility and fully compensate the customer for any inconveniences caused. In your case, Mr. Foster it has come to the attention of the corporation that the performance inefficiencies experienced in your particular case is completely free of any influences by the corporation. Our technical investigations team has fully established that the poor performance of the machine is fully due to rough treatment and to a very large extent improper treatment. The findings of this technical investigation team are currently in a report that you will find attached to this newsletter. Please go through the report and by all means seek clarification on any ambiguities that may arise or any objections you may have to the findings of this team.
The warranty privilege can, therefore, not be awarded in your case Mr. foster. The corporation is, however, at capacity to repair your particular piece of equipment for you at a very user friendly cost. These repairs are sure to have your equipment at optimum functionality in no time. Thank you for your continued devotion to this corporation. We look forward to future interactions with you.
