This study of the Quranic and the hadith texts it gives a very clear idea of the intensity of the force with which Muslims have stimulated the humanitarians action. It is both a ritual and also an obligation. If the Muslims undertake a humanitarian action, they do so primarily as an act of worshiping and also to be nearer to God. They expect to be rewarded in this life or in hereafter.
They cannot declare themselves believers if they don’t come to the aid of their fellow men. In their eyes piety is in dissociable from pity. They know that they can be prosecuted if they do not fulfil his obligation to the poor and also to the victims of the disaster. They firmly believe that if they make a donation to help the needy it will erase their sins and also will serve as an intercession in his favour in avoiding to be punished of the grave, the tests which are on the day of the judgement and also the flames of hell (Sezgin & Dijikzeul 96).
The acts of the humanitarianism are very important elements of the religious practise for the Muslim. The Quranic and also the prophetic texts calling for the humanitarian action, in defining and also ordering it are numerous. They are of an obligation or an inciting nature and they don’t exclude those who are not Muslims from humanitarian aid (Sezgin & Dijikzeul 161).
When the Muslim undertakes a humanitarian act it is a way in which they receive help from heaven, erase sins and also merit paradise. The mechanisms which are established by the religion have an unprecedented impact on the lives of the population like the freeing of the slaves, an important support for the most venerable and also the expansion of the educational and also the health-care system (Sezgin & Dijikzeul 288). Lately the faith based Muslim NGO’s follow the texts in the launching varied humanitarian programmes in the different domains.
The religious arrangement have reserved a large proportion of the donations for the structures charged with the administering the zakat and the waaf. The ones involved in the humanitarian work draw strength from the fact that financing for the structures is very guaranteed, that also secures professionalism and also efficiency because it is well known that voluntary work also has its limit.
