This study will consider Nairobi city of Kenya and Beijing city of China. Nairobi city is the capital city of Kenya with area a size of 696 square kilometers. It has a population of more than three million. It is one of the prominent cities in Africa, which has flourished both economically and financially. It is a home to thousands of Kenyan business bases with over 100 global companies. Nairobi city is the fourth largest trading exchange hub with an ability to make over ten million trades per day. According to the Globalization and World Cities Study and Network, Nairobi is described as a prominent social center characterized by a great pattern of cultural diversity. The city has a subtropical climate at 1,795 meters. In terms of political divisions, the city enjoys a complete county administration (Simeon, 3). The city is under the leadership of the Nairobi City Council. Consider the following map indicating the Nairobi city.

On the other hand, Beijing is the capital city of People’s Republic of China. It is a home for twenty one million people. It is located in the northern China. Its governance is attributed to direct control Municipality that is under the national administration. Beijing is the second largest after Shanghai. This city reflects the national’s political, social and cultural centre. Beijing has a dry and humid climate (Joan, 4). Consider the following map of Beijing city.
