This question has been among us for decades. Furthermore, it actually splits the society onto two parts: first supports the idea that sport is the key factor in living a long healthy life and another ones are more neutral and skeptical as for this idea. In fact, more and more people do start to side with the first group of people. You loose nothing, while doing sports, however, you get only benefits such as increasing of your strength and stamina, help you get in shape, you get more confident in yourself and develop team skills.
Sedentary lifestyle leads to the fact that blood pressure increases, you loose the appetite, bones become brittle, muscles - flabby, you quickly get tired, you get moody often, sometimes it can develop into a period of depression. The simple medical norm of movement - 15,000 steps (10 km) a day. Mankind’s lifestyle has changed significantly over the thousands of years. If you lived many centuries ago, you would have to move, exercise a lot to get food, build shelter, make clothes, etc. In our time, in order to get clothes and proviant, do not require much physical effort, but you still do need to exercise. Why do we need them? The most important reason to be in sports, is the need to improve health, strengthen the Cardiovascular system, to control high blood pressure. Exercises performed regularly, contribute to the resorption of potentially dangerous blood clots in the blood. If you exercise vigorously, oxygen gets literally in every cell of the body. Blood circulation is improved, do do reflexes. Sport activities tone muscles, make them strong and hardy. They become more elastic, as a result you become - toned, attractive and flexible. Exercises help to achieve an ideal weight and maintain it, which can not be achieved by diet itself. Moreover, because of sports exercises, you can control your appetite. Sport activities are crucial to chronic fatigue, increase stamina, increase your body's energy. They provide an additional supply of oxygen to the brain and make you more energetic throughout the day.
Regular exercise will contribute to a deeper and more restful sleep at night because it stimulates the production of endorphins that help to get rid of nervous tension that has accumulated during the day (sedentary people often feel drained at the end of the working day, which is not the case with active people who simply feel a sense of pleasant fatigue ). Exercising can help prevent depression and insomnia not only because it relieves nervous tension, but also because it reduces the excess adrenaline in the body and hormones that contribute to the emergence of stress. Sport activities also promote self-confidence, increase self-esteem: you feel you can improve your health and appearance, no matter what your age or physical condition. Exercises stimulates the metabolism (break up metabolism) and intestinal motility. Another benefit of sports is that it is much easier to quit smoking or any other bad habits! Good physical fitness helps a person recover faster after a serious illness, surgery, trauma, childbirth, because strong muscles utilize oxygen much faster and more efficient rather than flabby, and the more oxygen they get, the more quickly the organism recovers. Also, exercising is a good way to relax.
Finally, people do need to exercise regularly, due to the passive lifestyle that almost everyone follows nowadays with the development of Internet and Social Networks. The earlier they understand this – the better it will be. It is never too late to get in shape and strengthen your health.
