It is evident that women are not given equal opportunities as men in education. Many challenges are against the education of a female. Some of the parents do believe that investing in female education is unprofitable. It affects the female children in the sense that they will not be given equal opportunities for education as men. The other factor that limits females in their education is religion. For example, some of the regions that had majority of the population being Muslim women were alienated from the eyes of the public, and this did not allow them to participate fully in education. Some traditions do not allow females to take part in decision making thus the education of the female only end up in the kitchen of their husbands.
Women can overcome those limitations through various ways. First, women should know their rights especially those related to education and ensure that no one is violating their lives. Those women who were the victims of the issue of religion and the traditions should be in the first place to ensure that their female daughters do not undergo such humiliation. Additionally, women should also learn from the achievements made by the great women in the history. Those women who get an opportunity to join higher education should promote more discussion on issues relating to inferiority, superiority and equality (Walton 22). Women can also ensure that there is the amendment of the law in their countries to ensure that their rights are not violated.
Finally, men and women should be provided with equal opportunities in education. There more the evidence that women also contribute to the development of the society as men, the more the women will strive to do better. There should also be awareness all over the world to ensure that female rights are not violated. Female education should be promoted in the same way as that of male education.
