Gender equality is a human right, an essential condition for the complete enjoyment by women and men. One of United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization or UNESCO’s global priorities is promoting gender equality globally; it is acknowledged as being a key to achieve the objectives and priorities on the promotion of policy – oriented research, capacity – building, and an advocacy for gender equality. The international instruments has existed to support and protect the rights of women, however the inequalities of gender are determined in broad areas in the community. The complete achievement of gender equality is the way for the issues in the society to be resolved such as violence against women, gendered poverty, and exclusion of women from decision – making in terms of political and economic life. “It requires a deep modification in social relations between women and men to overcome inequalities, both women and men should be treated equally through social structures, cultural trends, and religious or cultural beliefs, it conveys and sustains gender inequality, and women and men are treated accordingly.”
First, both women and men should be treated equally through social structures, cultural trends and religious or cultural beliefs. Both women and men have their equal rights. In the United States, there no single right men have which women do not. For example, women can join the army, navy, and the marines. However, rights should be fair for all regardless of race. It does not mean that men are more intelligent or more capable than women are. Both are human beings and have their rights to be respected equally; being a female or a male does not make any difference. Power is an absolute knowledge and equal education is provided equally in all institution in the world. Most jobs in the industry are equal; however, high-powered jobs are given and taken by men. This is a pure sexism; nowadays, age gender is nothing. The only different is the reproductive system. All lead to why and how people think that women and men have equal rights in the world.
Additionally, it conveys and sustains gender inequality. Women and men should comprehend the respective equal roles, to strive, and to complement each other in the shared struggle in the community or society. Sequentially, to change the abuse of male authority, men should focus on doing authority qualities for the good of everyone. They should use their strength to defend and care for the feminine characteristic, to assist women to appreciate their true potential. Learn further about what it really means to be a woman or a man, a feminine and a masculine. Learn to value and respect women or men counterpart.
Finally, the most important reason both women and men should be treated equally is women and men are treated accordingly. For example, in the corporate field, women and men leaders are not significantly different and should be treated the same. The system would provide women opportunities and encouragements to take advantage, however, would not alter anything in the performance assessment or the nature of the said opportunities. A reason some woman has not risen to the top because of its organizational systems have not recognized the different paths to performance. The system focuses on the customization the work experience for women, to value the unique characteristics, and empower them.
Indeed, while it requires a deep modification in social relations between women and men to overcome inequalities, both women and men should be treated equally. Any efforts intend changes should be associated by extreme action to restore and support persons who experience inequality. The success of the changes depends on the courage of the system to challenge privileges that exist overtime. A successful improvement in the conditions of women and men occur only if the social, cultural, and religious trends are focus to the achievement of the objectives. Both women and men are protected equally, the freedom for both genders and whatever they do. A free society with equality is treated with genuine action, not divided by gender and provided limitations and roles, be a woman or a man.
