Article 1: Deriving Trading Rules Using Gene Expression Programming.
This paper demonstrates how trading rules are derived using gene expression programming with an explicit system. In this paper the various market concepts are brought to discussion and market examination is conferred with much weight put on the technological analysis and quantitative techniques. In deriving trade rules, this paper shows how genetic algorithms are used.
In this article, Gene expression programming is used in areas where the multiple forms of operators and mechanisms are applied. These in the end generate several gene perspectives and allusion between the genes in a way that keeps the linear composition of the gene expression programming chromosome.
In this article, the set of connections of the numerous gene contexts are put forward. This case study presents how to apply and interpret the proposed gene model in deriving the trading rules programmed by the use of Boolean expressions using the data layout as presented by the exchange rates between Euro and the Romanian leu. In its conclusions, the author emphasizes the helpful results that were gained in the process of formulating the practical trading rules.
Article 2: Gene expression programming based meta-modelling approach to production line design.
Considering that their exists highly nonlinear nature of the production processes, innovating and designing optimal models is not an easy task. Based on the current papers, a soft computer technique known as the gene expression programming (GEP) has been applied and used to develop a meta-model from the multiple experiments for the extensive aim of designing a production line. In conclusion, it was established that in deed the gene expression programming can be effectively applied to model and resolve production line design difficulties.
