The creation of Digital Camera occurred. The digital camera was introduced for the purpose of quality images. The invention was very successful since because of the installation in more than 1.6 billion, in camera phones.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers announces the invention of a wireless Metropolitan Area Network that operates similarly to Wi-Fi on steroids. The 802.16 antennas transmit the access to the internet for over 30 miles radius with a speed that can be compared to DSL and cable broadband.

Mark Zuckerberg launches the Facebook. After a day, 1200 students in Harvard sign into the Facebook profile. A month down the line over half of the undergraduates subscribe to the social site. The current subscribers to Facebook are now more than 1.3 billion people.2008

I chose the above events and developments as they symbolize the greatest inventions in technology. They have moved the world and attracted a huge population to make maximum utilization of the services offered by the advancements. The benefits of the developments outweigh the disadvantages thus appealing to many. However, it should be noted that, the events and developments has made it possible to share information on a global platform.
Question 3
Information on the explained events and developments was made available to the public through the media. Radios and Televisions broadcasted the developments and many people realized about the inventions. Social networking sites helped to counter the problem with information asymmetry and informed the public on the technological advancements. The public accessed the information easily through the media and social networks on time.
