Business in Al Gharbia
The low-lying coastline of Al Gharbia is a beautiful scenic site and attracts tourist from all over the world. It is a destination to people that come for holidays to relax and appreciate nature and the locals are proud of it because it shows to the world their culture. The low-lying coastline has locals that live in it.
Establishing a business in the low-lying coastal line will lead to profits because of the tourists that come to visit the beautiful. The business that will bring good profits is a gift shop. The gift shop will contain gifts that reflect the culture of Al Gharbia. Tourists from all spheres of live when they visit Gharbia are likely to buy gifts to take to their families back at home. Couples also come for honeymoon in the coastline and they would like something that will remind them of their visit to Al Gharbia (Morgan et al, pg. 45). They will buy the gift from the shop.
The gifts will vary in prices depending on the coast of materials used in making them. The profits made from the business of selling gifts will go back to buying another stock to expand the business. The business will expand that even the tourists will have to order their stuff online and I organize for deliveries. This will ensure that even when the gift is not available at the time, s/he can order and wait for delivery. The gift shop will also contain snacks. People visiting the coastal line will have an opportunity to have snacks as they enjoy the beauty of the coastal line. The presence of the tourists gives the businesses an advantage (Bhartia, pg.78). The snacks will contain soft drinks and cakes that people can easily carry as they take their tour before returning to their hotel rooms.
Salt and gypsum are also present in the Al Gharbia and can form a very important part of my business. Gypsum has many uses and starting a business that deals with this mineral will enable reaping of good profits. Gypsum has uses in agriculture and establishing a small plant that processes gypsum for agricultural use is good for business. Gypsum provides vital nutrients to the plants. The important nutrients include sulfur and calcium. A businessperson can pack the gypsum in different packages depending on the quantity. This allows the buyer to choose the package that suits him/her. Gypsum also improves the structure of the soil therefore making it more demandable.
Salt is another mineral present in the Gharbia and can form an important business because of the various uses. Salt has uses at home and at the industries. Salt is used as a preservative in industries and applied to food at homes. The salt is packed in various packages and sold at different prices. The tourists coming to Gharbia take the opportunity and buy the salts at a cheap price because of the ready availability of the mineral (Kogel, pg.546). The locals also have the opportunity to get salt at a cheap price. The business will thrive well because it will not target a specific group but instead targets the larger local population and the tourists visiting Gharbia.
Gharbia offers business opportunity that can propel people to bigger businesses. Taking advantage and ensuring that people have what they require at that time. Salt and gypsum have a ready market and since they do not expire, their storage is easy. The snacks business and gift shop also is an easy business but has good profits. Competitors are likely to exist but competition is healthy for business.
