Statement of Purpose
I personally think of management as an important attribute of organizing things and eliminating chaos. Management is an essential for working productivity and without this time and money will not be spent smartly towards achieving desired goal. As I started my study at university I monthly received stipend from government which I learned to organize myself. I really enjoy the management and being inspired by this, I want to continue my study at Master’s program in Management at Arizona State University (ASU). I had an experience of living in US and learned English during participation in Global Launch program. I really want to study management to become an expert in the area and be able to work in different places of the world, especially US and Saudi Arabia.
It is very competitive and challenging to be accepted for administrative and financial science programs at my alma mother, Taif University. In X year I applied for WHICH PROGRAM and was accepted, where I gained a lot of skills in the management. At the beginning of 2015 I started to work as a volunteer in the Women on the Move club supported by ASU as a financial director, and I continue to work there. I THINK YOU NEED TO CONNECT THIS EXPERIENCE WITH MANAGEMENT. Moreover, during study I learned business, so I have medium knowledge and skills in area. In 2014 I left the Middle East for the first time and enrolled in the Global Launch program at Arizona State University where I still study at a last session of Advanced 2.
ASU’s Management Master’s program is my top graduate program choice because the program is high-ranked and admits students with excellent academic and career achievements. Furthermore, the program is multicultural and develops such skills that allow graduates to build their career in the field of management in various parts of the world. In addition, faculty of the program are proficient in teaching, using advanced instruction techniques, including academic management courses for university students.
My main goal of obtaining Master’s degree in management is to establish and manage my own business in my motherland, Saudi Arabia, and make it international. Through efficient and successful business management my future company will offer a high quality services and provide more jobs opportunities for members of the community. In addition, I believe, my management skills will help me to effectively develop and use workers’ skills towards achieving goals. These members will contribute to build civilization of values and principles which will force the world to respect it. By conscious and responsible management, we can establish volunteering works to help indigent and disabled people around the world. Moreover, we can give them hope and strength to be able to advance and bring progress to their communities; in addition, to make society more powerful, active, and productive such that it can withstand and go through environmental, healthy, and cultural challenges. My further goals are to transfer, publish and dedicate ethics in the workplace and in the community though effective management. Values such as honesty, perfection, meeting customers’ needs, honest, and mutually beneficial business partnership will create an atmosphere of truth and respect and kind relationships among workers. I believe, that people who work in such environment exhibit better productivity and can become ambassadors of morality in their communities and in the whole world. I always remember great quote of Paul Hawken which is: “Good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them” (Goodreads.com 2016).
