- No more migrations in search of greener pasture (Helliwell 2002).
- It translates to economic empowerment of all countries
- People from all over the world irrespective of their home countries (George & Wilding 2002, Foskett & Maringe 2010)
- It makes life manageable way.
- IMPACT OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY
- The use of mobile phones, computers and the internet, it is possible to communicate across the globe.
- Effects of the use modern technologies (Gangopadhyay & Chatterji 2005, Bak & Stair 2011).
- All people are served with equal opportunities regardless of where they are in the world (Harasim 1993).
- The global flows are positively changing the lives of many people especially the disadvantaged ones.
- EDUCATION
- Universities that were otherwise found in the western peninsula can now be found in several parts of the world (King & Naidoo 2011, Stromquist & Monkman 2000, Wood 2008).
- Through the education and knowledge they acquire from these institutions of higher learning, people get empowered and in return, use the knowledge they acquire to improve their lives.
