During the last years of High School, my grades were slipping and I was disappointed with the way my results turned out. I lost the drive to work hard and the enthusiasm to give my best shot at my projects and assignments. I was distracted by too many things and I realized that I have started ignoring the urge to perform better. I lost interest in my academic life. Therefore, I started organizing myself. I analyzed my strengths and weaknesses and developed a critique against myself. I set a goal to become disciplined, in my life as well as my studies. The strategies I adopted were nothing more than just being responsible and determined. From my everyday tasks to long-term aims, I trained myself to keep pursuing them. In addition, after two months, I felt that I had become a much-accomplished person regarding my priorities in life.
QUESTION 2
My new set of goals that would focus on my academic, personal, and professional life would be being organized, flexible and planning ahead, respectively. Being organized would help me majorly in my academic life, as I will keep track of my calendar and have everything scheduled. It would make me manage my routine in an effective way help me learn to save time.
For my personal life, flexibility would be a huge advantage. Being flexible would keep me prepared for unpredictable situations. It would be easier for me to adapt to changes and unusual behaviors of people and things. Lastly, my professional long-term goal would be, being ahead of time. Out in the professional world I would have to race against time and if I develop a habit of planning ahead of things than I would be able to foresee the problems that can arise and then plan accordingly.

My three short-term goals for a successful first semester would be, get good grades (academic), practice humbleness (personal), and deliver my best work (professional). The first goal is surely going to help me in my studies but the second goal would make me treat people with respect and patience. Humbleness of attitude is necessary if one wants to be successful and such a goal would teach me to be courteous. This extends not only to my personal relations but also to my teachers and my classmates. The third goal would make me work hard in every field. If I do not have the passion to do something, despite the effort, it will never work. So in order to deliver the best, I would need to be ardent. Achieving this goal would do me good in my professional life as well as my semester studies.
QUESTION 4
My plan is nothing technical obviously. To achieve good grades I would make sure I am punctual in my classes, attentive during lectures and have a daily study routine. I would practice time management and schedule my academic work for every week. To adopt humbleness as a part of my personality, I would firstly make sure I treat people the way I want them to treat me. I would teach myself to be as much of help to others as I can. In addition, being patient with people is another essential part of humble attitude. All of this would help me gain respect from others and to be in their good books. Lastly, in order to deliver my best, I would take every project seriously, be it professional or academic. Background research would not only develop my interest in the project but also help me evolve new ways of doing it.
