In the cause of my duties at V&D, my retail manager mentioned that you may be planning to diversify into the Chinese market. This is significant to me because I am also on internship at Sema Foundation, a non-profit organization with over ten years of experience in business matchmaking and communications between Europe and Asia and whose manager is a Chinese national. Moreover, I am currently working on my thesis which is entitled "FDI Opportunities and Threats of Dutch Stroopwafels on Food Manufacturers in Yangling, China” for which I will make a Cost & Benefit Analysis.
I am sure that you can profit a lot from my experience especially because I have been involved in various business matchmaking exercises between China and the Netherlands and also participated at the Shanghai International Expo.
In addition, I am currently assisting two Dutch companies that intend to expand their businesses into China. For me, this will be an opportunity to finalize my thesis especially after already surveying 20 Dutch waffles manufacturers and distributors and gathering data on their concerns about factors they consider prior to making an investment decision.
