I always have the enthusiasm to learn and develop as a scholar. Since childhood, I have developed a strong desire for Biology, a likeness that I developed back in primary school where I had a strong interest in animals and plants with the adaptation of the living organism in their environment. I liked to read books on cells and how the cell elements interact while accomplishing the various cell functions. Due to this long likeness for dealing with living organisms, I decided to explore biological sciences as an undergraduate student in addition to getting concerned about nature while also volunteering in activities that are aimed at protecting the environment. That said, I believe I will do a great job in Masters Program as a student of Molecular Biology of the cell granted the admission, with the aim of becoming a biological researcher an objective that will help me broaden my knowledge and be able to achieve my dream in a well respected future career.
I went to Georgetown University in DC as a full time student of intensive English Language Program after my one year of intensive English language program at University of Pennsylvania. With these intensive programs that molded me as an all round student, I want to participate in research that will help better understand human body’s complex functions with the aim of leading research on the discovery of treatments of incurable diseases. I also hope to extend my work to benefit common people as a biologist due to the professionalism that I will acquire as a biologist after successfully accomplishing the masters program in the Molecular Cell Biology, granted the admission from Howard University.
I believe Howard University will be a perfect fit for me given the diverse population of students from all around the globe. The multicultural nature of the campus will help me a lot by contributing a broader understanding and awareness on me as a global citizen.
My objectives of acquiring the Masters degree in Molecular cell Biology range from personal to global awareness issues. I believe as a graduate of Howard University, I will acquire knowledge that will facilitate my development while striving to reach my dream of serving the humanity and the environment. My interests range from cell functions to current ecological issues, an interest that the University’s Cell program best fits thereby providing me with a very good opportunity to explore. The opportunities provided here will thus help me complete my Masters program successfully.
I believe nothing is possible without hard work and determination. Therefore, given the career that I am passionate about, I am confident that I will be motivated to work around the clock with all the confidence to achieve my dream of being useful to the communities around me as a graduate student in this field. I plan to be useful to my society by teaching Biology in universities in addition to participating in research that will benefit the people and the environment.
I have also been granted full scholarship by the Government of Saudi Arabia. Granted the scholarship, I believe I will do a great job to not only elevate myself academically but also be a good ambassador to my country. The scholarship will provide me with full tuition and other required fees in addition to monthly living allowance and medical insurance coverage.
I have developed strong communication skills over the years as a student and a high school Biology Teacher in Riyadh Saudi. These opportunities provided me with the necessary written and oral presentations; skills that I believe will go a long way to help me achieve my academic dreams. I also have strong foundation of Microsoft office, including excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook in addition basic computer knowledge. I will really appreciate the consideration to enable me be part of the University so I can also contribute to the already existing culture and academic diversity expressed on the campus.
