Jungle and government: On the surface these two concepts could not appear any more distant. These are two terms that are rarely mentioned in the same breadth. In depth analysis of the jungle and the government however reveals certain facts. The jungle and the government share a great deal of similarities. They also differ in a number of ways. The following essay explores the similarities and the differences between the jungle and the government. The thesis of the essay is that the jungle is better than the government
In the jungle, the strong rule. This is perhaps the greatest similarity it has to the government. In the jungle the strong animals are at the top of the food chain. They enjoy all the pleasures of the jungle while the weaker animals are ignored. In the government the rich take the forefront. The government consists of the rich to begin with. The poor do not have a place in government and are ignored much like the weaker animals in the jungle.
A contrasting fact about the jungle and the government is that animals slightly show some compassion. After making a kill a pride of lions will often leave something behind for the vultures. Animals also share resources such as water points. Every animal is free to use the water points at their own will. This is very rare in government. The government will never give anything to the people. The government keeps all the public wealth for itself and the people are left to fend for themselves. Public resources are also a luxury only available to the rich. The poor have to find their own way.
Comparing jungle and government leads to some very sad realizations. In a way we are no better than the animals in the jungle. We only have more sophisticated ways to hurt each other. The government is nothing but the advanced reflection of the jungle. There are a lot of similarities between jungle and government. The differences between the two however show just how the animal kingdom is far much better than the government system. Animals show much more compassion than the government does.
