QA Answer
The idea discussed in this article that intentional change process within a person is subject to the person’s willingness to change sense. It is true that for a person to experience any change, he or she should have the will to change. Other factors that influence change acceptance in a person as discussed in the article include one's values and motivation. This is to mean that one can change if his or her will, values and motivation are positive towards the change initiative.
Besides, I also find the information concerning the five discoveries of international change theory making sense. In most cases, change starts when one is having dream or passion for doing something in the future. A person then forms a determination based on how others see him or her. The person continues developing his or her dream and moves to another step which involves thinking reflectively about the issue and finally he or she organizes to take off the change (Boyatzizs, 2006).

Reflecting on my life this reading is very much applicable in my change process. In fact, the reading provides some of the information that I feel that it applies in my part. For instance, in every change I undergo, it starts out of my willingness without any influence by any other person as the author reveals. Also, my change process begins by building castles in the air regarding something I have a passion for doing in the future. This impels me to structure and organize resources as well as thinking critically about how best I can follow the passion. In so doing, I found myself adopting a change directed by willingness from my heart.

I am left with various questions regarding the intentional change theory. The first question relates to what are some of the factors that motivate a person to accept change? The question has not been fully answered in the reading. Besides, I would also want to understand the difference between an intentional change theory and forced change. Furthermore, I would like the future research to answer the question, why are people in groups more resistant to change models taking place in their organization?

QE Answer
This alternative involves a focused change that occurs due the emergence of a problem that must solve by amending the existing strategies. The theory involves the identification of the problem and taking the time to think critically on what change to adopt to solve the problem. The last step involves the implementation of the solution to solve the problem. Although this is an alternative perspective to intentional change theory, they are different in that the alternative involves forced change while intentional perspective involves one’s willingness to adopt change.
